That's great Kamal bhai.. Are you sure about this? Who said / confirmed this? If its CC guys, don't take them seriously. If others, please tell us who? Reg that 850MHz only 4G, I have doubts from the beginning. It is well known that RJio will NOT be sharing the 2300MHz 4G with RCom from the beginning. Later RJio may share 1800MHz, only after RCom-Aircel merger, when RCom will liberalize its 1800MHz spectrum also. Even spectrum sharing rules say that spectrum can be shared legally only if both the willing parties have same spectrum and that too in liberalized form. So the 850MHz only 4G will NOT be a big deal for many, imho. No VoLTE on RCom4G is also expected. As that is the only thing favorable and differentiating factor for RJio. If there is NO difference between RJio coverage and RCom 4G coverage, then only Pathetic RGsm fallback will assist Jio in getting more customers than RCom (apart from the 2300MHz band 40 4G capacity). But NO 10GB 4G Data??? NOT expected.. I mean, we all know very well that RCom will screw their customers in some way or other, but NOT openly and that too in the beginning itself. At the max, I expected RCom to give away that 10GB as 1GB per month for 10 months or 2GB per month for 5 months to avoid port out from their pathetic network till RJio launch. But saying, "Hey fu(k off.. No 10GB free data for you" to their customers is hard to believe. Please confirm about your source...

Got this message from Reliance today: Spoke to local Reliance shop. The dude says migration will happen either tonight or tomorrow. This is in Rajasthan. I'm guessing the same applies to the other three remaining circles. Well, hopefully..

One of my friends was getting 2G/3G network but not 4G on his mobile, he then patched the SIM and was able to latch on 4G network.

My phone had latched onto 4G in Delhi on 27th June, and speedtest showed speed of around 20Mbps. Then I travelled to Patna. In Patna, condition is pathetic. RCOM had lost 1800 Mhz, and they have no 2G here. Most of the times I am unable to make any calls or access net. Network is absolutely absent during most part of the day, even though they have ICR agreement with Aircel here. Today while I was searching for network in my phone in Patna, I saw 405 03 live on 4G network, when I tried to choose that network it failed. AFAIK, 405 03 is Reliance 4G. I was carrying a Jio SIM with LYF phone, that is my only life saver here. Network is present everywhere, coverage is awesome. Speed fluctuates between 5/6 Mbps to 30-35Mbps, depending upon time and location.

IP.Board 4.1.13.2 was released couple of days ago and I have upgraded the forum now. I am hoping this would iron out previously reported issues. So please let me know if your issue is resolved now and if you notice any new issues.

There is no unlimited stuff or false promise. I already posted that I got all the mentioned benefits and didn't have to do any paid recharge. Only Rs.1 which was done by reliance store. I got my account checked at rcom back end by a friend. Sent from my XT1080 using Tapatalk

RJio True 4G is Live PAN India and should be available at your location (Pune). Go to any Reliance Digital / Digital Express store with your Original Aadhar-card, buy a Lyf Smartphone+ of your choice & select a Prepaid 4G SIM No. Services will be activated in 24 Hrs. Enjoy True Unlimited 4G Data, Voice & SMS for 3 months (likely to be extended till Commercial launch on 28-Dec-2016). All Lyf mobiles support USB & WiFi Teethering to access internet on PC/Laptop as well. best wishes

Hi, I'm good KanagaDeepan bro. Thanks. I will be regular on the forum from now onwards. Get your SIM patched from the nearest Reliance Store and I hope you will be able to latch on 4G network after that.

Kamal Bhai. How are you? Long time, no see? Hope you are doing good. On topic:- Yes, I think the sim patching was needed in his case. sent from my Lenovo Vibe P1 using Tapatalk

Did you patch your SIM from Reliance gallery? If not, then this could be the reason you are not getting the 4G network.
  18. 1 point
The balance will not be affected. You needn't keep your new sim on as long as you are able to make/receive calls with your old sim.

It is strange. In our circle, they did not shut down the network at once. They migrated subscribers in batches. As soon as old sim stopped working (despite full network), new sim would start working.

From today onwards no EVDO for Kerala circle.. they are changing to GSM on 11-07-2016

It seems Rcom is not in a hurry to shut down cdma in tamilnadu. everything works as usual. on the otherhand my wind 4 jio connection is getting lot of complaints from my friends that number is busy eventhough it is not. Also data speed dropped from 24 mbps to 9 mbps.Still not bad but occational dropout for a few minutes is irritating

In Rajasthan? I am still getting CDMA 1X signals. Your's has stopped?

Bro, for the price [Rs3500] it's bang for the bucks. The cheapest Jio LYF phone with 1GB RAM. I have seen it in showroom. Good for the price. Go for it, if you just want to use for 3 months free data and sell or give away the phone to somebody after that. The other phones in 3000Rs price has just 512MB RAM, whereas jio bloat itself needs 600MB RAM. But if you are ready to pay more for bigger battery, go for wind 4, closing your eyes. It's the LYF phone with biggest 4000mAh battery. I have used it personally and is the best vfm [in LYF phone terms] handset to enjoy jio preview offer. It has 5" HD display, looks good [especially the brown one], slim and performs good if you disabled the Jio bloat. sent from my Lenovo Vibe P1 using Tapatalk

Employee SIM has a limit on number of recharges in a month . Faced this issue and was cut off for 5 days with no internet on JIO . There is a limit on number of total recharges/topups running on the number and also limit on number of recharges/topups one specific topup has been done . For simultaneous number of running data recharges/topups on a number is 48 Data included day and night data packs , havent tested others . Could be one odd recharge +/- its not official information but checked from my JIO account

The RCOM 4G SIM needs to be patched anyway. It causes problems in some handsets and not in others. I suggest you visit your nearest store and get it patched. Or, you may get a new one issued from RCOM, which doesn't need the said patches.

So what is the need for others to see your Jio SIM's IMEI number??? Edit it asap..
