Code Generated using Iphone IMEI number. Got the JIO sim. (in my Area DX store people not asking Samsung phone or IMEI) Activated in iPhone itself. after 2gb, I put the sim in samsung s7 and availed to recharge Combo 8 plan. Got back to Iphone it is working. put it mf90 (airtel mifi Device) it working fine. This is my experience on 10-8-2016.

I am a layman & not at all an advanced user! To access MTK Engineer mode you do not need to install any App or connect to PC, just Enter *#*#3646633#*#* in the Dial pad - select Band - Enable Band 5 [850 MHz] & Keep other bands disabled under LTE Bands and you are done. it is as simple as switching on/off your mobile handset! best wishes

Yes ! they should upgrade to VoLTE to hold back CDMA users from porting out. VoLTE does not suffer from poor coverage but suffer from CHOKED inter-connectivity - deliberately created by other networks such as Vodafone, Airtel and Idea to create a bad image of JIO. (They are already feeling insecure) VoLTE is nothing but Voice Over LTE network - so if you get good LTE network, you will get good voice quality & connectivity too. But the inter connectivity between two operators depends upon the active channels between the two companies networks. So even if your call is routed to other network it depends on the receiver's network to either block it or connect further to the subscriber. It is true for vice versa also - so you hear "all lines in this route are busy". (Actually BLOCKED and busy for nothing). This happens with all new entrants in telecom when they launch.

Yes, volte is voice over 4g LTE. Yes, volte enabled network is more advanced than other networks which use legacy 2g or 3g network for voice fallback [CSFB]. But since volte technology is still not matured enough, it will consume more battery life for the time being... sent from my Lenovo vibe P1 using Tapatalk
