How To Delete Mails From Rediffmail Without Sending It To Trash Folder ?
Arun replied to drali's topic in General Technical Discussion
spam mails get moved to the Spam/Junk folder, you need to empty it from there (it gets removed automatically after 7 days though). -
Now have a look at this ! Just found a banking website hosted on his server www.regent-online.org and yeah, it has Online Banking too ! I'm sure he is going to take the website offline as soon as he sees this post, so here are some screenshots. He seems to have done well to hide things... but everything is easliy traceable, here's some findings from dnsstuff.com More websites hosted on his server (a.k.a. Desktop): www.link-trustcourier.com (sounds fishy, maybe the website is used to falsely claim that the products purchased from their scam websites have been sent !) www.oaksecurities.net (ah, Oak Securities is/was a popular financial advisory company, they tied up mantraway eh ? ) www.phonytune.com (now phonytunes.com is the real website, so yet another 'phoney' website ) Now when someone complaints to them or points it out, his usual procedure is to close down the website and claim that it was their client's website and that he have closed the website now due to complaints.

How To Delete Mails From Rediffmail Without Sending It To Trash Folder ?
Arun replied to drali's topic in General Technical Discussion
Nope, not possible ! Even if you use a POP email client to remove emails from the server, you will have to move them to the Trash folder and then empty it. Moreover, that would require a Rediffmail Plus subscription too. -
I guess they are more concerned about this topic being indexed by search engines for their name keyword. As long as this topic hangs on the top position at Google and Yahoo Search for the keyword "mantraway", this topic serves its purpose to warn off people from falling into their trap. http://www.google.com/search?q=mantraway http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=mantraway

Septaphilia, when was your friend tricked into this ? How many months/days ago ? Have your friend filed any complaint with police ? What Nokia did was to complain to the WIPO and get the domain nokind.com blocked and transferred to Nokia (but I notice that the domain is available for new registration now) See the case details here: http://arbiter.wipo.int/domains/decisions/...d2006-0080.html Thats why the scoundrel got shelter under a free sub domain at previewmysite.com and continues his scam work.

lol, thats not all.. check out the email I received yesterday. He seems to have sent it to Directi (our domain registrar) and kept a CC to me... Why have you changed the deadline to after 48 hours now as per Ashok's conversation ? Didn't you mention Monday in the email ??? BTW, don't try to call me on phone as I don't want to waste my money talking crap with you (I'm on roaming). Or else I will take you to court for talking crap with me... lmao !!!

LOL ! I'm loving this !

Thanks for the info, sreenivas. As usual, Reliance has sourced an old outdated entry level model, when UTStarcom does have some cool high end ones. BTW, this handset seems to be specifically customized for Reliance... haven't seen any model like that on the net, from UTStarcom.

there are a hell lot of Internet Optimizers available out there. To check whether any of them improves your connection speed or not, you will have to try each and every optmizer on your connection. Manually tweaking your MTU settings would be even better.

Credit Limit On Reliance Postpaid Subscribers
Arun replied to bellamkonda's topic in Reliance Communications
It could take a few months for your credit limit to go up according to your payment history and your billed amounts. BTW, anyone has a credit limit over Rs.10,200 ? Mine has been stuck on Rs.10,200 for some time now -
ok, I guess they would be getting more soon since these are refurbished handsets.

Good to see that they have updated their website with more features. Sure, some plans are missing and it may not show the correct result when you have R-Connect plans, especially the old data based plans.

Reliance Infocomm completes Phase II expansion in Tamil Nadu, plan to start Phase III now TUESDAY, APRIL 11, 2006 - ChennaiOnline.com, Economic Times, The Financial Express, PTI Reliance Infocomm has announced the completion of its prestigious phase II project in Tamil Nadu. Phase II covers 600 towns, 10,000 villages and 4.3 crore people in the state. The Tamil Nadu circle of Reliance Infocomm is targeting over 100% growth during the current fiscal. The company will unleash on April 14, the Tamil New Year, a 360 degree marketing and communication campaign highlighting its coverage leadership that is an aggregate of congestion-free traffic, lower call drops, more BTS (base tower stations), clarity and high data download speeds. The campaign presents two unique facets: modernity brought by its world-class technology on the one hand and the cultural spirit of Tamil Nadu, on the other, said V G Somasekhar, Circle CEO, Reliance Infocomm Ltd. 'We are the only service provider in the country to provide fibre optic connectivity that links BTS units with switches as compared to radio or microwave links of other operators. Hence, we have the potential for ready scalability to reach out to more customers across towns and villages with congestion free network,' he added. The company would be adding 110 more base stations at the end of May 2006 to its existing 1,000 odd BTS at an investment of Rs 50 crore as part of its Phase III roll out in the State. With a customer base of 1.5 million, 95 per cent of them were subscribers to Reliance India Mobile, the company has been adding not less than on lakh new customers through mobile telephony in Tamilnadu. The State contributed 8-10 per cent of its all India subscriber base. 'After this completion of Phase II, we have become the number one provider of telecom services in Tamilnadu with convergence of uninterrupted voice, data and video applications of high clarity because of our fibre optic network, besides wireless connectivity,' Somasekhar declared. "The third phase will be completed by May 31, 2006" V G Somasekhar, Circle CEO, told reporters on Tuesday. Responding to queries, he said that Tamil Nadu contributes 9% to the company’s overall numbers. Of the total 1.5 million subscriber base, mobile alone holds 95%, he added. "We are committed to remove the digital divide in Tamil Nadu. People will now get uninterrupted voice, good call clarity and wireless Internet connectivity. This is a Tamil New Year gift to the state," added Somasekhar. Reliance Infocomm's 80,000 km of terabit fibre optic network forms the backbone of its network expansion. The network can support unlimited and uninterrupted voice, data and video applications across the country, he said. R World is one popular application. With over 150 applications from news to railway ticketing to commodity prices, it has become a virtual computer for many in a country with a very low PC penetration. R Connect is another application that gives the user instant any time, anywhere Internet connectivity, Somasekhar said. Reliance Infocomm's point of sales terminal facilitate credit and debit card transactions in smaller towns, usually bereft of supporting communication infrastructure. With more and more banks finding the application useful, it is catching up fast too. Unlike a standard PC that is fixed at the merchant establishment, Reliance-enabled PC is mobile as it is wired to a RIM phone, he added. Smaller towns have seen mushrooming of mobile ATMs, pointed out Somasekhar. Banks are increasingly making use of the company's nationwide network to provide mobile ATMs. The State Bank of India's floating ATM on a barge in Cochin is the world's first such ATM. ATM-on-wheels can now be seen at Kumbh Mela too. Ajay Awasthi, business head, TN Circle of Reliance Infocomm, presented the first copy of a CD having a set of musicals, created as part of a reworked marketing drive in Tamilnadu, to Somasekhar on the occasion. For the first time, Reliance Infocomm has customised its advertisement campaign in India. To capitalise on the huge potential of the fastest growing state in India, Reliance Infocomm will be launching a 50-second customised ad campaign exclusively for Tamil Nadu customers. Written and developed locally, the ad film is expected to catch the attention of one and all.

I have used ZTE card once, and it was better than my LG RD 2030's performance. And I haven't heard any complaints about it till now.

well, the SRCP does go away if you switch on the handset after a few days. And if you try upgrading the phone version now, the SRCP message would come again. The phone board has gone bad and the only way out is to replace the phone board, which would cost money (Rs.6000) as handsets under the employee scheme is out of warranty.
