  1. Board Stats ?

No, both the statistics have no relation between them.
  2. Board Stats ?

Not really Jayant, the "Most Online" mod doesn't count the guests. "Most users ever online was 361 on Jun 7 2005, 11:07 PM" - indicates the most number of users (members and guests) online during an interval of 15 minutes, which occured on the above mentioned date. (Though the surge happened due to search bots hitting the website as per the logs) "Most Online In One Day Is 197 On October 19th, 2005" - indicates the date (24 hours time frame) on which the most number of members (guests not counted) logged into the forum (ie., 197 members on October 19th, 2005). Both are different, and the latter one is a mod. Redshift, I think I've explained it to you through PM.

  5. Sierra Wireless Card

    a) It is the same speed for both the data card technically, but practically the data card has proved to be more efficient in giving better speeds. b ) The procedure may or may not work depending upon your handset and the type of data cable. I guess the procedure was already mentioned in the related topic, even though it could be complex for newbies.

  8. Reliance has a third party agency appointed to collect feedback from customers who contact their call centre/chairman's office frequently. I guess they have been collecting such feedback from a long time and I've been bugged by their calls many times !

  10. No Username?

I guess that could be a Search bot which couldn't be identified by IPB. Search bots are granted member privillages in the forum.
  11. Reliance gets billing certification October 26, 2005 - The Asian Age Chennai, Oct. 26: Reliance Infocomm, an Anil Dhirubai Ambani Enterprises Group company, has become the first mobile service provider in India to be awarded the ISO 9001-2000 certification for its billing system. The company became the only service provider in the country to have a billing system with a customer relationship management solution, enabling Reliance to have single window of the customer. The Infocomm billing process, which underwent a huge change, has helped the company achieve record collection of 98 per cent in the post-paid category. The billing process encompassing the collection and mediation of call detail records, issuing of statements and receipt of payments was put in place six months ago. The new billing system is in sync with international standards. According to sources, Reliance’s single toll free number is operational across the country. The CRM provides Reliance a single view of the customers seemlessly in any part of the country. It also helps customers make payments and change their tariff plans at any outlet across India. Reliance’s call centre, having over 4,000 people, monitors the quality of customer interaction, operates in all languages. RIM (Tamil Nadu) CEO, Mr V.G. Somasekhar, said: "We consider our bill as an effective communication tool that enables us to build a one-to-one relationship with our customers."
  12. Reliance Infocomm to expand coverage in TN Wednesday, 26 October , 2005, 16:26 Coimbatore: Leading cellular player, Reliance Infocomm, would increase its coverage to 600 towns and 10,000 villages in Tamil Nadu within one month, a senior company official said today. The company at present has coverage in 550 towns and 9,000 villages across the State, with an investment of rs.1400 crore, Ajay Awasthi, RIM Business Head, Rest of Tamil Nadu, told reporters here. The company, with a 20 per cent market share in the prepaid segment, was targeting to increase its share to 25 - 28 per cent in six months, following the new Rs.10 recharge facility launched in the State today, Awasthi said. It was also expected to increase its rural share at least by five per cent from the present 25 to 28 per cent of the total 10 lakh subscribers in the State, he said. The company’s 80,000 Km of terabit fibre optic network formed the backbone of its network expansion, Awasthi said adding the network can support uninterrupted voice, data and video application across the country. The company currently covers over 3000 towns and around 1.5 lakh villages in the country, besides major highways and rail routes, Awasthi said.
  13. Google Specialized Search Urls

Amazing pics there ! mods, why not? 45068[/snapback] Only recognized file extensions will be supported for file attachment. If a new extension needs to be supported, it has to be defined in the Admin Control Panel.

  19. All about Nokia 6235

Thanks for the smart review r2d2 ! Yes, you can use R-Connect through Infared as mentioned in the Product Information document (see first post) Akshay, answer to #4 will be NO. Reliance handsets do not support that. #7 - Nah, I don't think so, the memory makes all the difference ! #8 - See the available R-World applications in the product information document #9 - It should be !
  20. R Connect Displaying Wrong Usage

I hope your plan actually got migrated to the Freedom@Night plan. Did you receive the SMS confirmation ? Anyway, do let us know what the Chairman's Office says !
  21. Latest s/w versions Of Lg Phones

vijaykv, your version is 08, not 1. The 1 is the version of PRL. Upgrading your handset software version is just like updating the softwares in your PC. Some bugs could be fixed and new features could be added too. There is no 'disadvantage' if you upgrade it. However there isn't much change you can expect if you update it to version 15 or 17. Just some minor changes only. And for version 17 of LG RD2030, the only new feature as per LG Service Center is support for International roaming.
  22. R Connect Displaying Wrong Usage

mk15, you are concerned with the data shown in DU Meter only, right ? Most probably, R-Connect could have logged only 22 MB itself. I've seen variations in the data shown by DU Meter and R-Connect unbilled usage, where DU Meter always logs more data. Moreover, why are you worried about it when you are on the Freedom@Night plan ? Regarding the unbilled spike, are you guys sure that you haven't used R-Connect between 6 AM and 10 PM ?
  23. More expansion of RIM network in UP Reliance Infocomm today launched its mobile services in Chitrakoot, as part of its plans to take its services to more than 95 per cent of the urban population and about 60-65 per cent of rural population in Uttar Pradesh and Uttaranchal. Reliance Infocomm is at present operating in 360 towns in Uttar Pradesh. Under its phase II network expansion plan, the company targets to cover a total of 589 new towns in UP and Uttaranchal, covering a total population of 13 crore, a company statement said. In addition to this, 41 towns are already operational in both the states under phase I. Reliance infocomm plans to launch its mobile services in Badrinath, Joshimath, Kedarnath, Kushinagar, Nainital, Rudraprag, Uttarkashi and Yamunotri in Uttaranchal, besides Neemsaran, Shrawasti and Tanda in Uttar Pradesh, it added. The company is aiming at 100 per cent network coverage on state/national highways and railway routes in the two states, the statement said.
