  1. Don't use USPS for shipping costlier items in bulk as it will be handled by India Post when it reaches India. Use DHL or FedEx or Aramex. Customs should be 29% of the invoice including shipping cost.
  2. ok, you're in. BTW 2 FREE credits are available for anyone willing to try out the tool with TATA along with a review. PM me if there is anyone looking to configure for TATA.
  3. For those who are interested in getting it for a discounted pricing, please PM me the number of credits you are looking for so that I can figure out what the bulk number would be, which would then decide the discounted pricing.
  4. Restriction is for 15 days from today due to the North-East exodus incident. News Report: http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/tech/news/telecom/5-SMS-per-day-limit-comes-into-effect/articleshow/15544381.cms
  5. There is no such common quota, it will vary on what the organisation's IT department decides.
  6. Talisma is the CRM software that they use. It seems to be a forwarding address, so the actual address (customercare@) may have got the email. There must a lot of complaints and the disk quota exceeded
  7. If you read back the discussion in the previous page you will understand that they are taking the plan change request for postpaid also, it just not mentioned in their website.
  8. Having SPF for your domain does not "assure" you of "0 spam" from your domains; it can help reduce the forged spam. Professional Spammers can workaround SPF as it is not a foolproof method. SPF can stop sender-envelope/client-host forging only and not header forging. Also remember that not all mail server would check for SPF records as many are not configured for it. Anyway email spoofing isn't related to the issue in discussion by the OP, he uses gmail on his laptop as per his PM and just needs to clean up the laptop with anti-virus and anti-malware software.
  9. It doesn't show for postpaid is what he meant.
  10. If they took the request with the request number would that mean the plan exists for postpaid? She did read out 1 GB for the plan, took the request and I have the request number.
  11. As per UCEPROTECT (another spam reporting service), 4 out of the top 5 spammers they receive are from India: http://www.uceprotect.net/en/rblcheck.php
  12. They get the complaints from spam reporting services ike SpamCop or Spamhaus, etc. These spam reporting services also keep the database (called blacklist) of IP or IP ranges (in case of ISPs) that are responsible for generating spam, which are in turn shared and used by other mail servers for filtering spammers. They contact the ISPs (or web hosting provider if it is a server) with the full header of the spam complaint and would ask them to check it and prevent from happening again. The ISP or provider would then contact the end user seen in the complaint they received and would ask to fix the spam issue. Once the ISP is sure that the spam issue is fixed by the end user, they can respond to the spam reporting services to delist their IP from the blacklist.
  13. They did take the request for plan change for one of my postpaid connection.
  14. The complaint email looks genuine, PM me the email header. Very likely that your PC is infected with virus/malware and sent the spam emails. You can install an anti-virus software, update it to the latest version and run a deep scan. Install and run a deep scan with an anti-malware software also. Good to know they are monitoring such incidents as I have seen Reliance NetConnect IPs blacklisted in many blacklists. BSNL's IPs are terrible with blacklistings all over the place.
  15. If you are on postpaid, call Customer Care and change it. Yes, they were aware of the new plans when I checked. Plan will change from next billing cycle only.
  16. For postpaid it will change from next billing cycle only and won't pro-rate
