* Upgraded to IP.Board version 3.1.4 - which is a maintenance release that fixes several issues reported in the previous version. Please don't forget to do a Hard Fresh (Ctrl + F5) or clear cache in browser. CleanCut skin is not available yet, it will be re-enabled as soon as CleanCut version 3.1.4 is available.

No, there are thousands of websites that will not be fully compatible with Opera Mini that I can show you, which is due to the complex coding that Opera Mini won't render properly. They can be only viewed partially or with issues. Yes, that is the way to go. End of story.

As I already mentioned earlier in this topic, you have to use the "IP.Board Mobile" skin if you want to browse the pages without any issues on a mobile browser like Opera Mini. If the default skin works with full functionality with a mobile browser like Opera Mini then why should the developers decide to develop a mobile skin? The default skin cannot work fully functional in a mobile browser like Opera Mini due to the complex code it has for supporting the advanced features which will work with full functionality on a PC browser (or even a better mobile browser like Android browser, etc.). The solution to the issue for the default browser not fully functional on a mobile browser like Opera Mini, is the mobile skin. We use "IP.Board" from "Invision Power Services" and this how they have developed and expect the mobile skin is expected to work on "IP.Board 3.x" which is used in thousands of forums (and not at RIMweb alone). If you still want to use the default skin with Opera Mini then you can but with adjustments as you said, but this cannot be reported as a bug to the developers because they already have a solution to it and that is to use the mobile skin for Opera Mini.

From what you are saying I think you are using the "IP.Board" skin and not "IP.Board Mobile" skin. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and make sure that you see "IP.Board Mobile" just like in the screenshot above.

If you are not interested in updating and want to stop the OTA update notifications, then you can just rename the file "otacerts.zip" (to something like "otacerts.zip.tmp" which is in /system/etc/security directory using ADB or the root explorer app.

CAG Report Indicts Raja and Anil Ambani
Arun replied to Himanshu Singh's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
Reliance Communications on CAG report: Didn't violate licence conditions NDTV Correspondent November 16, 2010 Contesting the claim of government auditor CAG, Reliance Communications, India's second-biggest mobile operator, on Tuesday said it didn't violate licence conditions at any stage. "The group has had no shareholding in Swan Telecom Ltd. (now known as Etisalat DB Ltd.) at the time of grant of license to them or any time thereafter and the issue is accordingly not relevant to the company," RCom said in a statement. "Reliance Communications has always been in full compliance with all applicable laws, rules and regulations, and there has been no violation of our license conditions at any stage on account of cross-holdings in excess of 10 per cent," the statement added. The latest revelations on the 2G spectrum scam suggest a careful confluence between the Telecom Ministry, when it was headed by A Raja, and a series of big business houses. "85 of the 122 licenses were issued to companies which suppressed facts, disclosed incomplete information and submitted fictitious documents to DoT and thus used fraudulent means of getting licenses and thereby access to spectrum" – this is one of the more biting conclusions of the report prepared by the government's auditor, the Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG). It is unflinching in its indictment of Raja, blaming him for violating guidelines, indulging in favouritism and costing the government Rs. 1.76 lakh crore by mishandling the allocation of 2G spectrum in 2008. "2G spectrum was allocated beyond contracted quantity to 9 firms including Bharti, Vodafone, Idea, BSNL, Reliance, Aircel," the report said. It says that the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) circumvented the rules to help Swan Telecom, which effectively acted as a front for Reliance Telecommunications. The charges in the CAG report are that Swan should not have been considered for a license because Reliance Communications held 10.7 per cent stake in Swan - and according to the rules, a telecom operator cannot own more than 10 per cent stake in another telecom company operating in the same service area. "Email ID of Swan Telecom was shown as that of a Reliance ADA group official," said the report. Shares of the company declined Rs. 6.25, or 3.72 per cent on Tuesday, to settle at Rs. 161.80. Some things will never change with BSNL, ain't it? Yes, not sure how much time they need. Should be at head office

You will have to apply it at the BSNL Customer Care/office in your city/town.

I got the notification few days ago and I went ahead with it. However the process stalled after the message "Rebooting Now" and it never rebooted. Today I received another message saying the OTA update is about to install and showed the Rebooting message again but again it did not reboot and still shows the old version itself.

I have logged in to your account using Opera Mini 5.1.21214 on Nokia N82 with IP.Board Mobile skin and I see 40 posts in a single page for a topic and definitely not 5. This is because you have changed the default option in My Settings > Forums > Board Preferences. You have set 40 there and so I was able see all (38 I think) posts in this topic as a single page in Opera Mini. Are you logged in when you are checking it? Do you see the Reply option? P.S.: I hope have received the password reset email now.

Can you explain the issue? I have now changed the editable time to be same for both groups, which will be 72 hours. "Show Comments" is working for me. Which browser and version are you using?
-
I have temporarily disabled CleanCut skins due to the issues and will be enabled when a new version is available. Since it is a third party skin the developers cannot fix issues until the third party developer releases a new version with the bug fixes. Not yet, but I wanted to check if you were seeing 5 posts per page on Opera Mini for CleanCut skin or default skin?

Not easily, but possible. I have to get the correct SQL query for that to check against the database.
