Well atleast the limits given by them are quite reasonable like 70 GB for 384 kbps connection. When I read amit.shippie's post (where he mentioned 7 GB) before seeing the actual limits I was shocked! I wonder why these operators still hang on to the "unlimited" tag and get away with it?

Bangalore , January 2, 2009 Press Trust of India Reliance Communications today announced the launch of Customer Experience Programme to the first few customers on its GSM network in Karnataka to get feedback to help improve the service even better. When a subscriber loads his/her handset with the Reliance GSM Customer Experience Card with a nominal fee of Rs 25, he/she would receive Rs five free calling every day during the next 90 days -- a total benefit of Rs 450 with zero recharge commitment, the company said. In addition, there is a value super-accelerator in terms of completely free night time calling (with only a nominal charge of Rs 50 for 90 days) to any of over 25 lakh Reliance customers within Karnataka, it said. "Now, we will not only be offering a unique Customer Experience Programme but also will be the first service provider to offer a choice of both CDMA & GSM networks in over 1,700 towns and 18,000 villages across Karnataka", R Swaminathan, Regional Head - Karnataka & AP Circles, said after the launch. "Customer Experience Card is nothing but a SIM card", he told PTI, adding, the customers can give feedback through"*333" mode from their handset, through helpdesk of retailers and web portal. Do you have a data cable? Install UniCDMA in your PC and try detecting the handset in it. If it detects then you can find the lock code in UniCDMA

Yes, you have to make sure that your email address is registered with your account. You can call customer care and check if your email address is on records. If it isn't then you can ask them to update it. You can also register at http://bill.reliancecommunications.co.in/w...et/RegisterUser to have your email address registered

Another one with the same IP! 3 of them seems to have registered at the same time today. Edit: Looks like there was more drama planned... I see 5 more accounts (mihr44, ansh99, akash11, rehan33, arun68) registered with the same IP within a span of 10 minutes!

As per the IP addresses logged, sahiltanwar, ritesh123, paresh77 and sobhitkumar are the same "person" with same IP. All 4 members have been suspended now.

I'm getting around 2500 kbps average download speed at optimal location, and around 2000 kbps average download speed inside room with Reliance Netconnect HSD, at peak times. At the Web World where I checked earlier, there were 6 or 7 connections being used at the same time.

Mac driver is available for Huawei EC 321 but I don't think its available for LG LXU 800. Yes, the dialer software will have option for both calls and SMS

We have received reports from members that they had received spam via PM within the past 45 minutes. We did notice the PM spam attack and immediately installed and enabled PM flood control to stop the spam. By the time we identified the attack (within around 45 minutes), the attacker had sent spam PM to more than 3500 members. The attacker/member has been identified and blocked which seems to be a compromised PC in Germany. All the spam PMs sent by the attacker have been deleted. Please note that you will have to wait for 10 minutes before sending a second PM as we have the PM Flood Control enabled now. Members with more than 10 posts will not have PM Flood Control restriction. We apologize to the members who received the PM spam and for any inconvenience caused by the PM Flood Control.
