You mean you got Sony DAV-DZ570 for Rs.15,500?
-
I have a Sony DAV-DZ570 which is pretty good. Looks like they have increased the prices now as it was mentioned Rs.19,990 when I bought it and got it for around 18k.

It is called Smart where Reliance Telecom (not Reliance Communications) was operating GSM service in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Orissa, Himachal Pradesh and West Bengal. The "Smart' brand name is being removed and will be named as "Reliance Mobile" soon, already done for Orissa.

Reliance Launches Customer Experience Programme For Gsm
Arun replied to Arun's topic in Miscellaneous
Nope Yes available. just follow same procedure of e-recharge which u had used for CDMA connection. I'm 100% sure because i had purchased one paper recharge from CDMA and applied to GSM and it works I had already tried online recharge for Reliance GSM from a couple of payment gateways and both failed. Its interesting to note that paper recharge for CDMA worked for GSM though! -
For Fixed WiMAX, you just need a network card in your PC.

Nope -
Yes, this is Fixed WiMAX since they mention about CPE. The tariff plans are about the same as offered by other operators but the cost of CPE is unbelievable. Other operators are giving CPE for Rs.500 only, the only difference is that the operator owns the CPE legally as per the Terms and Conditions, but who cares when we can use it forever? << Moving to Broadband Discussion forum >>
-
I don't think there are any STVs during the CEP offer for now. Only top-up offers where you get full talk time for Rs.50 and Rs.100 are there.
-
You just need to call Customer Care and ask the plan to be changed. It will get changed within 1 - 2 days.

Reliance Launches Customer Experience Programme For Gsm
Arun replied to Arun's topic in Miscellaneous
Yeah, its showing the cell info name now. The location shown is changing at different points for me as I seem to be located between two towers, which must be the reason why the network range shown varies and results in call drops some times. BTW, I'm able to connect to any number in the first dial itself now, so there is some improvement. -

I am using it in Trivandrum, the calls drops/connection error seems to be occurring more in Trivandrum, so probably things aren't ready yet. -
Use NEFT (National Electronic Fund Transfer) and it will be free. It can take up to 3 days for the transfer to complete since it is passed through the Reserve Bank of India, but if you transfer it in the morning, it may get credited the same day by evening. In ICICIbank.com, it is the "Transfer funds to other banks" option.
-
There are no post paid plans announced for Reliance (RCOM) GSM either.
-
It has been very problematic in Trivandrum with call drops/connection error and that is probably the reason why they haven't been able to start distributing the CEP SIM yet. The experience have been quite good when I went to Bangalore where the calls drops/connection error were very less.

Do you guys have any idea when RGSM launching in New Delhi Some time in February I heard. It is not "root", but "route" -
No Unlimited GPRS plan for now.
-
Do we have to register it from iptorrents website or BwT website? iptorrents website shows: The current user account limit reached
-
*123# does not have any option for activating GPRS. You have to do it either through R-Menu or send SMS: ALL to 55100
-
They have priced it similar for both CDMA and GSM
-
Yeah, too many connection error messages and "this route is busy" messages!
