This isn't the first time Hetal has posted a ROM for people to think that it would brick their PPC. Few bugs in a ROM won't brick the handset either.

Reliance Communications To Launch Gsm Service By Fiscal Year (2008) End
Arun replied to Arun's topic in Miscellaneous
GSM handsets: Reliance Communications plans Rs.3,000 crore orders Fri, Nov 28 2008. 1:01 AM IST LiveMint New Delhi: Reliance Communications Ltd (RCom) is placing orders with Samsung Telecommunications India Pvt. Ltd , LG group and Motorola Inc. for GSM handsets as it prepares to launch cellular services based on the global system for mobile technology. The orders may be worth as much as Rs.3,080 crore. RCom will order between 5.25 and 7.7 million handsets, said an Rcom official who didn’t want to be identified. The exact number will depend on the company hitting monthly sales targets, said the official. The cost will also depend on the price of the handsets, averaged around Rs.4,000 a piece. The combined value of the orders could range between Rs.2,100 crore and Rs.3,080 crore. The company plans to introduce GSM services initially in 250 big cities and expand by mid-2009 to other parts of the country, matching the coverage of its current CDMA services. RCom has been testing its GSM operations in Delhi and Mumbai. It is expected to spend around Rs.20,000 crore to roll out its GSM network in 14 circles by the first quarter of next year. “We are in discussions with them (RCom) for the GSM phones but as yet have not signed a deal,” Anil Arora, marketing head of LG Electronics India Ltd, said. Sunil Dutt, who heads Samsung’s mobile business in India, said it hadn’t received a bulk order yet from RCom for GSM handsets “We are in active discussion with all service providers, including Reliance. We will be happy to share details at an appropriate time,” said Lloyd Mathias, senior director and head of sales and distribution, India & South West Asia, Motorola Mobile Devices. -
didn't know it was a big attack when I heard about the news at around 11 PM

dont think we can order. They would bill only credit cards issued in USA PayPal should work as it is an option shown there. I've used PayPal (Indian A/C) to order items from eBay USA before. what are the import duty charges?suppose lets assume we are buyin an mobile worth 8K,so what might be the import duty on this? Ie what's percentage of import duty charge? It would vary I think. I was once charged around Rs.400 for an item worth around Rs.3000

Then I guess DHL would be the better option as I don't think USPS would handle the duty part. For those who want to know the pricing, etc. you can check and order from websites like www.buy.com , www.bestbuy.com , etc. Thanksgiving day offers will be there from Thursday afternoon (Indian time).

Why have you sent the complaint email to Blackberry's customer care? You can send it to: corporatecentre.customercare (at) relianceada.com and keep a CC to: Chairmans.Office.Customer-Care (at) relianceada.com Replace (at) with @ A refund or a money back is too much to ask for when you are dealing with Reliance! However if you are successful to claim that the issue was at their side, they may give a waiver for the rental for those days.
-
Which "phone" are you talking about?
-
If you are sending it through USPS then it will be routed to India via Global EMS service. The Indian Speed Post is part of the EMS service and hence would be the delivering agency. It will then pass through Customs and they will either seize the item (and send you a notice to visit them) or will add customs duty which would be collected when the item is delivered.
-
What would be the mode of shipping? Won't the item be seized by the customs department when it reaches here even if you send via DHL?

Not to worry, @ksh@t and muffadal_km... I had registered 2 extra email addresses for the offer and so I have forwarded one each to both of you by PM now

Just got my free license email now

You seem to have missed it by around 3.5 hours as 6 AM PST is around 5:30 PM IST.

Everyone will feel the pinch, especially any industry that depends on export since the demand will go down due to the economic slowdown. Other industries will get affected as well since consumer spending will go down. Certainly jobs are at stake and one would be lucky to get away with salary cuts instead. BPOs have started reporting lower attrition rates now.

I am closing this topic now since the member who had claimed to have the solution hasn't posted it yet. If he or anyone wants to share it here in the future, they can PM me for re-opening this topic. -
Who cares? Investors who have bought stocks during good times and still hold them do.
-
Yeah, it does feel a lot better investing at 8k levels rather than buying at 21k levels!

No one can really tell that as the negative news can come out of anywhere anytime. As long as the negative news keep coming in, it is going to be longer and longer. Many analysts are looking beyond 2010 for things to settle down.

The "Wireless Data Usage" is meant for Reliance NetConnect usage only.

I believe India still have strong fundamentals. India is being impacted by the recession in developed countries, mainly US as the saying goes like... "When US sneezes, India catches cold". Things should get better when the situation in countries like US improves. Since recession happens in cycles, things will definitely get better, however it may take a few years to settle down.

Discuss Here : All About Online Recharge For Reliance Mobile
Arun replied to Honest's topic in Reliance Mobile
It probably wasn't successful. It usually gets credited within a few minutes atleast. If it wasn't successful, you will get the credit back in your Bank A/C within 3 days. -
Hetal just told me that it wasn't the one used in his previous ROM. Use the one posted by mufaddal which looks awesome.

How about a trusted seller member group (instead of having a seperate sub forum) so that the trusted seller can be recognized easily from the member group icon?
