Recently I have started getting this error with my activesync, "Synchronization could not complete. If this condition persists, try deleting and then re-creating the device's sync relationships. Support Code 8503001c." When I tried to google about this error, guess what I found, this error usually occurs with XV 6700 from Verizon. Hetal, Sadikbhai, Kshah or Tanveer anybody got an idea why is this happening. (Btw, I am using Hetal's latest ROM, 3.5.4d)

Got it sorted out, had to reinstall Outlook, reinstall Activesync and Hard Reset the device. Hell, now I wonder how long will it take me reconfigure me email accounts on Outlook and the Pocket pc, but thanks to all for helping.

Well, my firewall settings are alrite, this prob has suddenly popped up, I have already unistalled and reinstalled activesync, I have reset the activesync settings on the phone several times, a couple times I have hard reset, still no success. As a businessman it is imperative for me to have my data on the move, if this PDA does not do that, its useless to me, I hope i get a solution soon.

I had to compulsarily upgrade to this ROM, I was much happier with 3.5.4 B, which according to me is the still the best, (tho I had to do some changes, esp. the dialer skin and the loud orange theme). It had all the features that i required, like voice dialing and more, but it developed a snag the screen got misaligned and would not align at all, inspite of running align a dozen of times, after hard reseting the ppc on the initial setup, the screen would not go ahead of align screen, even after 20 times of aligning, after a couple of hard resets I tried all Hetal's ROMs with permutations and combinations of radio versions, still the align screen problem persisted, only 3.5.4 d hasnt caused this problem, I think even "Tanveer" has been thru hell due to this. Any idea, "Hetal" why is this happening? "Sadikbhai" any idea, where have u vanished ur not answering calls nor answering queries on the forum?

Haan, Sadikbhai aur details toh do, if we plan to buy this handset we need to know all the features, not that we dont trust you, but better to know first.

I read an article on some "Times of India" site, which was dated sometime mid-2005, it said that Reliance was launching EVDO within 6-9 months, its still not launched? How is Hetal using EVDO then?

Is EVDO available on reliance? If yes, I am sure it should be available in Mumbai too.

Hetal, Can we have a cab file of all the software in this ROM separately, I updated to your ROM, but restored my software and data using SPB backup, so all your software vanished , it was indeed a great package, but I cant afford losing the ones I presently have and dont have the patience of reinstalling them.

Can someone put this in a simple language? (I am a newbie but also get bugged with IP error message). And I would love use the MMS feature, which I badly miss in this instrument.

Guys, heres a funny little problem I am facing, I used Hetal's software package, (the SPB backup one), it of course wiped out all my settings and overwrote them, but it seems Hetal's backup also overwrote my POP3 email settings, coz I could not see any of my configured accounts in messaging, but now heres the funny part, the today screen was still showing the the number of unread email messages in those accounts. I tried re-configuring those accounts, but could not give the same names as it said that these names already existed. My today screen still shows the those emails as unread and when I click on it...you guessed it right, nothing happens. Anyboby got a solution?

Great job yaar Hetal, the ROM is excellent, I am trying to donwload this backup file, but it wont seem to download, says that the file cannot be found, can you provide an alternate link.

Atleast it would be great if we receive it, which it does not. But is reliance also not providing MMS in the PPC 6700?

Sadikbhai, I tired the cab file recommended by you but the Reliance Mobileworld settings did not return, could you please post them with the proxy server and details like username and password (something like UTA@relianceinfo.com).

Thanks to Sadikbhai I got my PPC, But I am facing some teething problems, a) Why is it that the phone (reliance) becomes inactive when I activate WiFi, is that normal? Is there a way I can make both work? Once I have activated WiFi, I get connected to my network, but still cannot access the Internet c) For that matter, even when the phone is connected via USB I am still not able to access the Internet d) How do I connect to the internet on my laptop using the PPC, I used to connect my Nokia 6255 with ease using Bluetooth. e) When searching for services available on the phone only two services show up on my computer, A2DP and voice gateway, what about other services like file transfer, network access, bluetooth serial port, etc. I would be very glad if someone could answer my queries.

Hi Guys, I happened to connected my O2 mini to my nokia 6255, it did work the first time, i browsed the net well and hung uo, but since then i never get connected to the net. My nokia happens to dial #777, but the call just drops with any further activity, anybody knows what could be problem be. Could it be the init strings? I tried inputing the AT+CRM... string but that too does not work. Chintan.

Guys it worked, i somehow had the wrong init strings, basically what is had was at+crm=1;cso=33, At was not required.
