Oh BTW, some things are non-functional, like Camera and in some instruments, Bluetooth, else everything works. Including data on Reliance, etc.

i fail to comprehend your confined knowledge. with due regard to your expertise. tell whoever you have seen using tp2 to upgrade to the latest rom available across the globe. let me add dear that touch flo 3d was long ago quit by users everywhere to more advanced Sense UI 2.1 & 2.5 Also to add even the original carriers are using windows mobile 6.5 now. Touch flow 3d was shunned with windows mobile 5 only. For any amateur user on windows mobile let me inform once again. windows by microsoft has been sluggish on every platform even on pcs. only with the dawn of windows 7 are we seeing some improvements but for starters there is a very popular application called HTC clean RAM which is a must for windows mobile to get rid of the so called sluggishness. its seems you guys have not even tweaked ever with the windows running on your desktop, you have to always tweak your OS to get optimum performance. as far as the new baby android is concerend, you must know that the hero is not equipped with a proximity sensor, so it won't lock the screen when you hold it up to your ear during phone calls where as tp2 has it. and you tell me that i have not used it but you have used both. how would you justify not being able to upgrade it to the latest and much updated android version 2 instead of being stuck on 1.5 which hero has. the poor battery life in comparison to tp2. the lack of world phone capability so you dont remain stuck just on cdma even after spending so much. what do you do when you system memory reaches its limit and you still have more things to install. i guess probably you guys never even install 3rd party apps. guys no personal grudge but you seem to be newbies to me as far using smartphones is concerened. i know the looks have all the jazz but we arnt ladies. if you are tech savvy hero with such limitations cant suffice. its still is in its developing stage. there's no syncing software to help you manage and transfer your music. As it is right now, you have to use the old drag-and-drop method using the USB cable. It'd also be great to have a file manager so we could more easily find files from our SD card. if you regret having used tp2, contact me for possibilities beyond your imagination. things you can put to use. I am using both too, let me tell you the latest ROM update of Hero is the slowest ROM i have seen, even beats my I-mate JAM from 10 yrs back. TP2 is a lot better, lots of tweeking and stuff.

Definitely a nice ROM, I have used in Touch Pro and also am using in on Touch Pro2. NRGZ28 has done a fantastic job creating this one.

One problem I have been facing on the Hero, is that it does not sync contacts with the google account. Calendar and emails are in sync, but contacts won't. Any ideas, why this could be happening. Is it the new ROM? Also anybody have an idea of a good navigation software like Mapking or Mapmyindia for Android, Google maps does not support India yet in navigation. I know Mapmyindia is available for 2.5 K, bud Sadikbhai has spoiled us, you know what I mean.

Edit: My MEID is not 000000000, do you think that would make any difference? Also, I get an error, when I write to phone saying The mobile reported the following errors while writing NV items: "NV Item: NV_UE_IMEI_I and Status:NV_READONLY_S"

Has anyone unlocked the "GPS Photo" feature and successfully geotagged a photo of the Touch Pro, I already unlocked the feature (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=454300), also on getting an fix in the camera, the Exif data shows the Lattitude and Longitude data as 0;0;0. Any ideas, guys, I've already searched PPCgeeks and XDA forum. I dont want to use any other softwares like shozu or gpstoday.

Hi Guys, I managed to get one of these from Sadikbhai, can you guys guide me as to how can I connect the phone to the reliance netconnect, I tried making a new "virtual modem" connection and entered the username and password, and #777 to dial, but every time i try to connect, it says "Your phone must be configured for vision services", and also suggest some helpful software and where to get them?

I have installed the Huawei ec168c USB modem on almost all the machines I have, including a Thinkpad T Series Laptop. I did not face any problem of any sort, moreso after all the reliance process of verification and stuff, my connection also got activiated. Only one question, What is the "Huawei Mobile Connect - 3G GPS Interface" driver, can this modem be used as a GPS device??

Well, even my HTC mogul wont connect to my wifi at home and office. But the issue here is different. I had once dropped my phone and my display got damaged. Got it repaired from an HTC workshop in New Bombay, but since then my wifi starts but does not detect any networks, could it be a hardware damage, or some other issue? BTW, wifi worked very well on my phone before this. Is my wifi dead for good, or is there hope?

I really need some help here guys. I have been using using Hetal's AKU 3.5.4 D for quite a while now. Recently I planned to upgrade to WM6 from Helmi, it just wouldnt upgrade, Put the phone in bootloader mode, wait while checking your device, the progress would be as required, except for the portion where the file transfer is shown, this would just be bypassed, and then it would say "Almost Done", hard reset your phone, but no new ROM, same old ROM. Have already tried all the old and new ROMS which I had with me, but the same problem seems to happen. Anybody got an idea? Why am I stuck with this ROM??

Further, I would like to add that I also downloaded, Helmi's 6.1 Kitchen and tried to develop my own ROM, succeeded in making my own ROM, but still failed to load on my mobile. Shucks!!!

Thanks for your comments guys, but I am using in the bootloader mode, and hard reseting after that. Also I am using the no-id flashtool provided by Sunny, Hetal and Helmi, none of them still worked.

Hi, I keep getting the Error 150: ROM Ugrade utitlity error. Saying "This ROM upgrade utility is not designed for your device. Please get the proper ROM upgrade utility and try again!". I have been using Hetal's AKU 3.5C, I also did a hard reset before tyring to upgrade but it still wont work, any ideas!! I have been facing this problem on a Vista based computer. I tried two other machines running vista, the setup went thru well, but without installing anything I reached the "Almost done" screen and asked for a hard reset, was back to my previous state. No update. Someone please help!!!
