have been using Hutch for quite sometime in Delhi and have been pretty satisfied with the service whereas Airtels netowrk s**ks and their billing used to be horrible.

man as far as service of SE is concerned I would give them mark og 150%, man its simply awesome. My dad uses k508i and though the problem was with our SIM they exchanged the phone twice w/o much trouble and even as far as service they return the phone same day if no major problem and max by next day for some major problem.

but i read somewhere word by Tata's management that they will continue the scheme beyond nov 30 dependig on the response to the scheme. and i suppose they will as i expect that response will be phenomenal if they market it properly.

YES guys the scheme is launching, today at one of the bus stops here in Delhi I saw the hoarding of this new scheme, and its called NON STOP MOBILE. the schme is under the true Paid offer that means under the prepaid offer and one can recive calls for 2 years w/o recharging. but the customer care does not have much info about the offer but say will be launched next week. So lets wait.

The voice quality on the phone is crystal clear and i'm using their 256kbps plan with share ratio 1:2 and i get speed of almost 150-160 kbps in the day and 200+ in the night and most important no service down. in delhi idea is using the 99 series currently.

the bharti's figure which u have quoted is for their landline service and not for mobile, and as far as mobile service of bharti ie airtel their subscriber base is over 14 million.
