Had decided to Port from RCDMA to RGSM hoping that the "No service period" would be minimum. Experience- Total time for transfer was 10days (incl wknd) No Service period- No incoming calls for about 26 hrs. No complaints were accepted by CC for related issues. Porting did not affect "my service" information and services.

800 to 90 in 3 years. CDMA, GSM, 3G, Data, All India Optical fiber and tower network, Flag telecom network...... Yes, other telcos too are not doing well but it seems Rcom is getting beaten out of shape. Does it say something about its future?

Who cares what he said or not. Shallow politicians judging and issuing sentences is a pity and should not be tolerated. If you do not agree with somebody’s opinion there are many a decent ways to express your dissatisfaction. Getting carried away by such mindless squabbling is stupid. Don’t like him? Do not watch his film. Not letting anybody watch his film is being uncivil. Beauty of our democracy is that I could be the dumbest creature on the planet but I have every right to express my opinion on anything and everything I feel right. Nobody can take that away.

In my case the page has been opening allright but no bill details have been available for about a month now. Complaints to Reliance was in vain. "Signing up" again (getting new pswrd etc..) sorted the problem in my case. Press Release RCoVL/MR/2006/06 Reliance Infocomm slashes ISD rates by over 60% DAKC (Dhirubhai Ambani Knowledge City), Navi Mumbai, March 31, 2006 Reliance Infocomm today slashed ISD tariffs by 45 per cent to 69 per cent for calls to various countries, including the US, Canada, Europe and Middle East. The rate change is spread across all plans and schemes under prepaid and post paid categories, enabling Reliance customers to make the cheapest international calls from India. The ISD rates to the US, Canada, Fixed phones in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia have been brought down to Rs 6/ minute from Rs 14.25 under all One Nation plans. The rates for ISD calls to these countries under all other plans have been brought down to Rs 7.20/ minute from Rs 12.99/minute to Rs 14.25/minute earlier. The rates for calls to Gulf, Middle East and Africa have been brought down to Rs 8/ minute from Rs 17. 25 under One Nation plans and under other plans, it has been brought down to Rs 9.99/minute from Rs 19.99/ min to Rs 17.25/min.
