Hi! Even I had the similar problem. There are a few things to look upon. Please specify the memory card you are using - its brand and size. Most of the times, external drives doesnt seem like working properly with Nokia's but, I am using Kingston 2GB card. With this card, I will not be able to use my mobile as a disk drive with PC using data cable. But, I am able to connect through a bluetooth device Check whether your USB is compliant, coz even with my PC, I was not able to connect as similar to you, but, my friend has got a PC (new model) with which, I was able to connect through If possible, try installing your mobile s/w with a laptop and connect your mobile and then check whether you are able to do the same.

Hi Buddy!!! I think, Nokia 6265 CDMA supports only Mini SD Card and not Micro SD Card. I think you can use upto 2GB which I am using (Kingston Mini SD Card - 2GB). From the manual we can see that it just supports only upto 1GB. But, when I tried with 2 GB card, It supported. But, we cannot save anything using a data cable. We need a card reader to directly connect to a PC. Rest, like saving through bluetooth / infrared and taking photos, it is like a normal card.

I think there is s/w problem in 6265 coz... even I hv got similar...like camera not workin..thn went to Nokia care, they gave me repaired after 15 days Juz visit Nokia care...n get it repaired...ASAP

To enable this, choose your application, do not open the application. options --> Application access --> Communication --> Network access --> Ask first time only or Ask every time options --> Application access --> Connectivity --> Ask every time or Ask first time only or Always allowed options --> Application access --> Data access --> Read user data --> Ask every time options --> Application access --> Data access --> Add and edit data --> Ask every time

Guys dont worry... Even blackberry is getting available now in Reliance. But, we still cant expect high end CDMA phones, it is very rare. If you see for 6265, most of us waited for almost an year and a half to be available in India.

Actually speaking the jack in that top left of the phone is meant for Persons with hearing aids. Instead of having one separate jack for hearing aid and another for normal headset, one single adapter with a good headphones might be a better option (This is from my point of view) It is upto them to choose it.

Hi, You cannot compare the Sony's W550 with Nokia's 6275. Even the high end phone of Nokia's CDMA - 6265 itself is like that. If needed, you can purchase an adapter for the same SEE: http://www.nokia-asia.com/link?cid=EDITORIAL_199243 and use it with the phone. But, I dont know about the support with that adapter with 6275. But, Nokia 6265 supports it. I am using it with 6265.

Hi, The adapter is the one which works with your card reader. You should plugin your SD card in the adapter and you have to plug in the adapter to the card reader. But, it depends on your card also. I have Nokia 6265 CDMA - RIM. Previously I have used 1GB Sandisk Mini SD card which I have bought a datacable and directly connected my mobile with PC using the data cable. But, now, I am using 2GB Kingston MiniSD card for which, I cannot connect directly with the data cable. I have the adapter and card reader. So, I put the card in the adapter and then plug it in card reader and use it. But, If you have a Laptop, you can directly plugin the adapter to the pc and use it. You dont require any card reader at all. It is better if you have a separate card reader with you.

There are a lot of converters available which converts .avi, .mp4, .mpg formats to .3gp, .3g2, etc., You are required to download one among them. I have downloaded the Mobile 3g converter. Hi Friend!!! First of all, which mobile did u got? and where? I think you might have got Nokia 6265 If I am not wrong. If that'z the case, For memory card, I juz got it yesterday (13 Nov) for 1600 Rs 1GB Sandisk mem card (in Bangalore). So far I have saved almost 600 MB full of songs and pictures mobile is working properly with same speed (usually Nokia and Sony ericsson gets slower when u put larger sized mem cards). I was able to install and run three of the applications... Mobile Office, Opera mini and breakin brick game. But I was not able to install any themes. I have to look how to do it since I didnt had time I didnt do it. Update us with the mobile details and a lot more were already discussed in this forum regarding Nokia handsets. Better go thru the forum once again. You can find all the details here.

Regarding your problem with banner RELIANCE, go to Menu --> Settings --> Display --> Banner --> Personalise --> Then edit with the name you want. For the KNIEXT, even I had the same problem. It arises whenever the coverage is low. Try to be in a better coverage area and then try. I got the same in my hometown, in TamilNadu, where it was low coverage area (my place) So the problem arised. But when I reached Bangalore and tried, it was working fine. Also, remove unwanted apps you have downloaded thru R-World... That will also cause problems... Enjoyyyyyy

I think you have not closed the SD Card slot properly. Coz, once I got the same problem. But when I closed it properly and switched off and then on, it started working properly.

Guyz!!! Very few fancy handsets are available for CDMA market. Among those, I would prefer to go for either 6255 / 6265 in which style does matters with quality also. Waiting for one more new model for another 1 year more or less, will again make us frustrating in which, we will be again look for some other better model which may come next year or in the mere future and still waiting for that .

No waiting for price decrease any more chaps... I think only LG Sets with reliance goes down in prices... 1 1/2 yrs back, when I enquired about Nokia 6255, it was 12,500 which is still the same price. Such high end sets - prices, may not go down atleast for another 2 - 3 years after which, again (I think) there should be a change since technology is changing the world a lot.

In all other Nokia's GSM Models, this format is supported...

Buddies!!! I enquired about the shipment of the handset to Bangalore, at a webworld near New BEL Rd, Bangalore. That guy is telling that the handset is shipped in two kinds... One with Bluetooth which costs @ Around 18,000 and the another one without Bluetooth @ 16,000 I am not sure about the Webworld guy. I have to look in the city's main outlets... Need to check this.... Also, when I tried customer care, here it was busy Need to check
