I am searching for the details from an experienced person who is using this Kyocera 7135 (wireless service provided by Reliance in India) for few days.
At present I am using a RD2130 & now wish to a change for Kyocera7135 smartphone.As I am a novice about the palm Software & Hardware applications & confused from various opinions from various users ( Verizon,Altel,etc), could you please help me by sharing your experience with this set in India with me ?
Let me tell some details about myself ,so that, you can suggest me with ease from your end :-
I am a doctor & interested in Computer field (spend approx.4 hrs./day with my desktop). I am a medical Research Scholar also & I have no idea about the software application on PDA.
Are those applications similar to Windows 98 or Windows xp ?
For Desktop / Laptop computer, we use the software versions according to the operating system (generally Windows/Macintosh/Linux Oses).There are many software available for palm os like isilo,epoc,etc.
With the CPU Speed: 33 MHz DragonBall™MZ. 16 megs of RAM. Palm OS® 4.1 software can I use all the software of MEDICAL APPLICATION used in various Palm OS based handheld devices ?
When I Synchronise the Kyocera 7135 with my Desktop -
1.can I access the software from the desktop ?
2.can I write documents in MS Office,etc.in my desktop & transfer them with full accesibility on that smartphone With Palm OS® 4.1 software ?
3. Can I store , access & edit my patient details & drug databases as I use MS Word or any third party software in my desktop pc ?
Above all, how louder the Ringtones for Indian Streets (can u guess what I want 2 say ?) & is the phone fittest for Indian sorroundings (local trains in suburbs !)?
what do you think about the battery life, signal & voice quality along with readability in sunnydays in India?
Please mail me as early as you can so that I can exchange my existing handset from RIM service other wise I have to buy another device for portable data carrier substitute (laptop, etc) of my desktop.
