I am the user of Freedom Plan. I have yet not received the first bill of RConnect Freedom Plan. I will confirm once I receive the bill.

I think ricmail is available only to Freedom and Platinum RConnect customers. That is why not everyone is able to open the accoun at www.ricmail.com

It worked for me tool. I entered my 93 number without 0.

The POP Server is : pop.ricmail.com SMTP Server is : smtp.ricmail.com Note that SMTP server requires authentication. Be sure to check the checkbox in outlook express. Rest are defaults. Have fun

The file may be running. Check Task Manager and try shutting downl the offending process. If it is not a executable download handle from Sysinternals and see which process is using that file and shut down that process.

No, there are duplicate cables. They are one made by local companies. I have myself bought the faulty one. Reliability of those cannot be gauranteed. Are you sure, In my case it was the duplicate one which charges the phone. The reliance one I bought doesnt charges the phone and it works fine. I doubt they will make multiple types of cables for single phone. Using RD 2030

The original USB data cable of Reliance doesnt charges the mobile while surfing. However, there are duplicate data cables, which have the facility of charging while surfing.

Hello From Nov 22, reliance has launched the new tariffs for the RConnect Services. Since I am a heavy internet user, I am thinking of changing the tariff plan. Can anyone tell me how reliance will be calculating the data trasnfer. Will it include download only or both download and upload. Also does anyone know any application which will monitor and log the amount of bytes transferred. I think Freedom plan(Rs 650/1 GB) is best, since 1 GB in my views is far enough keeping in mind the speed of the connection.

You are right. The RConnect speed is well above suitable for gaming wether it is NFS, or my favourite AOE . But if some data is not exchanged for few seconds, the phone drops the connection with the server, ( not windows). This causes lag when data exchange is recontinued. My solution would be to always have something downloading in the background. However this may cause the drop in bandwidth available to gaming

I bought the duplicate data cable for RD 2030 for Rs 400. Unfortunately due to some problem, the my phone was not detected through cable. I bought the original Rs 1200 and it worked like a charm. However it doesnt means that all duplicate ones are bad. Some users have reported very well usage with duplicate ones too. If you are going for the duplicate one, make sure that you have the option of replacement or money return, incase the cable doesnt work.
