you can go for nokia 1661 or 1662.i personally would prefer 1661 coz of its thin looks. its good if you are purchasing for a women.

in my opinion only one thing sets GSM over CDMA is availablity of handsets till date. u can get good handsets in GSM like nokia 7210 for 4.5k but same type of handset in CDMA we get for around 5k.(less features in CDMA).

what is OMH Handset.i also see that some samsung handsets also mention OMH enabled? sorry got the answer via google.OMH mean Open Market Handset

hi all. here is a tutorial which i found out while surfing to make a mp3 or wave ringtone from a mp3 file. You will have to get some sound editors i.e audacity,lame, and razrlame(lame gui) Audacity and razorlame can be found here http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/windows and razorlame here http://www.dors.de/razorlame/download.php 1. Open the mp3 u want to make a ringtone in audacity 2.Select end of the song, and delete(I normally left 20-30 sec but it can be more(it's upto u)). 3.select about last 2 seconds of the file and put a "fade out" effect in effect menu. 4.export the final edition of file as wav(in file menu) 5.Now open razorlame use these settings : Bitrate should be set to 32 bit Mode should be mono and Lame option should show this -b 32 -m m 6.then add the exported wav file to razorlame and export it -> ringtone ready 7.now u can transfer the mp3 file to ur handset ive tried and tested this method and ive been able to upload mp3 ringtones to my nokia handset(3155) hopes everybody like it.

the files u downloaded are in the fone format and u will have to upload them to ur phone through Bitpim and a data cable attached to ur phone and ur pc ,alternatively u can download those file with .mid extension and then u can send them through MMS.

used this service 2day. it's the same service as offered by Hutch or airtel. ive also been able to download 2ringtones through. usefull for those ppl who dont have Rworld available in their handsets but i also agree with other's price for using this service is to much high i mean first u will pay Rs6/- min for using this service and then another Rs7/- if u download a ringtone dat comes out Rs13/- and wat u get a crappy ringtone. for dat amount one can get a video ringtone in hutch.
