Heard the competitor ( not exactly ) to our 6265 has been announced by Tata indicomm the Motorola V3 Razr. Motorola is also in the process of tying up with Reliance for slew of launches of their handset range..

Sorry Schumi but no such info avail at Nokia dealers or the Great cust service numbers of Reliance... reply got is " I am sorry sir but we have no information on this handset.. from where did you get info of this handset ? "... Maybe it is going to take time to be launched in South, Kerala, Cochin....

Are there any user installable applications for the series S40 phones from Nokia... I am looking at apps like Excel viewer, Word viewer, IR remote control s/w etc.. I am told people have installed such s/w on their mobiles..

Newer models are already being planned for launch by Nokia this July. naa..its no match for nokia...no extendable memory..no bluetooth or infra red and it costs Rs 21,999 !!! not done...i'd rather buy nokia 6255... Yep It sure isn't any close to 6265.. No Bluetooth, 1MP Camera, extendable memory yes but thru memory stick... AND COST Rs.21999/- FO

Hey I don't know but it seems that 6565 is nowhere to be seen or heard off either from Reliance or from Nokia ( Priority dealers ) ... By the lay of things I personally feel that Reliance is not keen to launch this handset in the near future... Any handset launch is well preceded by clear indications like stock transfers to dealers, advertisements or even gossip ( read info leaks from webworlds/DAKC ) from Reliance which is totally abscent so far.... We can only curse :'( and pray in our wait for the handset.... in maybe 2..3... 6... months ??? who knows ??? By then I am sure Nokia will come out with some other much better model ( evdo ) and once again we can expect a stale handset from Reliance..... Please comment..... I badly want to replace my LG but sadly have to wait .... or change to a GSM provider....

Sorry to disappoint you guys but this is what some Dumbo at the Reliance web world at Kadavanthra, Ernakulam, Cochin told me... I too found it incredulous to even continue talking to him.... He had no idea in the world what he was talking about... The only correlation to the handset in question was his confirmation of 2 MP camera on it.... Reliance will not price it lower as it is touted to be the most advanced handset for Cdma till date... expect it around 15-18 k

Guys I walked into a Web world today and guess what I was told.. "This handset is slated to be launched by 1st of May and the price will be only INR 8000-9000 " unbelievable !!!!
