Reliance Cdma Number To Gsm Number Conversion?
santhoshavanoor replied to mr.sanjeev's topic in Miscellaneous
I agree with the technical qualifications of CDMA technology. But Rcom's customer care and network coverage for CDMA is very poor now. I'm in Bahrain, but I know the situations in India, I send 3 mails to corporate office still no reply. Before they are replying within 3 days. Now a days no reply. they are not improving their CDMA coverage. Thats the reason I don't like Reliance. If TATA improved their coverage, I'll buy TATA connection. I don't want to loose my Reliance Mobile number. Bottomline: CDMA is better than GSM. Reliance is not better than .....???( I can't compare with TATA and other operators, because I don't know about their services, but sure Reliance Customer care and Quality of Services became very bad condition) -
Reliance Cdma Number To Gsm Number Conversion?
santhoshavanoor replied to mr.sanjeev's topic in Miscellaneous
Dear Arun, I'm too eagerly waiting for the government's decision about Mobile Number portability. Because I want to retain my CDMA number with reliance. We don't have coverage in our village, Reliance agreed me that they will install CDMA antenna with The GSM antenna in a tower, but nothing happened. I contacted them thru email, but no reply. So better I can wait for Mobile number portability. Another question will come, what to do with my CDMA mobile? I purchased C810 for a price of Rs.7000/- and still it is completely useless because of low coverage. -
Finally petroleum officers withdrawn their strike infront of Government's strict decision. Now Government should not allow to those officers to rejoin. They should be dismissed and Government giving a clear symbol that no more strikes like this not allowed in our country. There is too much ways of strikes. Anyway within 2 days everything will be normal I hope.....

Situ you are doing good for your health. But if this strike is going on all India will become freeze. These type of strikes are not good for India and we Indians. We should want to oppose these strikes. Already the public sector officers getting more salary, then why should they go for strike? Lorry's & Trucks are also in strike. What is happening in India? Nobody opposing these strikes. Wake up India, wake up India, just we are recovering from the Mumbai terror attack, now again, we can't afford this. Where are our rimwebians, to talk in this matter? nobody take interest on this matter? There is other types of strikes they can opt. Why our judiciary and government not giving strict action against this strikes? No, we are helpless? No we need justice..

Reliance Gsm Crosses 100,000 Subscribers On First Day
santhoshavanoor replied to vmsanghrajka's topic in Miscellaneous
First RCom will acquire more customers by giving some cheaper offers to them and after they achieved that no more customer care and no more quality of Services. And suddenly they will increase the prices also. A recent BIG example is BIG TV. Now the connection charges for Bigtv is more and they are offering 3 months free packages.. Reliance is doing nothing to its existing CDMA customers, not improving the network coverage, not giving Quality of Services, not responding to customers etc. -
Cdma-based 3g Services Limited To Existing Players !
santhoshavanoor replied to Honest's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
Government decision is not good for customers. Why TRAI is silent on this matter? Once CDMA-3G is allotted to these 3 operators, my worry is the charges for using 3G services can control by these operators. I think Government should want to think again or TRAI should want to give an instruction to these operators for the rates. -
I wish to all our Administrators, Moderators, Members and all other people "A Happy New Year 2009". We will make our country, world a terror free zone on this year. We will protect our children from poverty, child works, etc. This new year should be our eye opening year and We all should want to hold our hands to build a Greenier, healthier, smarter, India without any religion, color, state, gender. ***^^^^HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009^^^***

Twin Tracks To Broadband Nirvana !
santhoshavanoor replied to Honest's topic in Other Broadband Discussion
So when we will get freedom from the SDCA's. Also I remember that I have been complained to Reliance regarding my network coverage, then firstly they inform me that because of this SDCA problem they can't increase the capacity of antenna. There will be a colash between SDCA's. After they have been changed the numbering scheme, still they are not improved. -
Twin Tracks To Broadband Nirvana !
santhoshavanoor replied to Honest's topic in Other Broadband Discussion
Thanks for the info Kamal... Why they are charging for roming in different circles with the same operator? TRAI should want to consider whole India, not by state, metros, etc. If we look in Gulf region, in Saudi Arabia, UAE, here in Bahrain there is no roaming charges for the same operator wherever you are in these countries. Now a days Zain is offering free roaming in 20 countries where they have license. Our operators should want to follow like this. we don''t want borders between states, metros, etc. We don't want roaming. We need freedom to use our mobiles within whole of our country without any roaming charges.!!!! With regards -
Twin Tracks To Broadband Nirvana !
santhoshavanoor replied to Honest's topic in Other Broadband Discussion
This seems very good with a speed of 1.8 Megabits per second and unlimited bandwidth. But what's the coverage? and did you getting the speed what they offered? -
There is a straight solution...But it should want to come from the root of the family. In Madrass's teach Patriotic Matters. Most of Madrass teaching religious things. If we study suicide terrorists, those who are in field attack they are non or less educated and not went to school/college for any studies. I know that there is now IT professionals, Engineers, Doctors are involved in terrorist groups. But they are doing things sitting behind the field terrorists. They are doing for themselves only. Not for others. If there is no more non educated terrorists, the well educated terrorists can't do anything. This is my observation only.

India Has 81 Million Internet Users ! A Statistical Enigma !

Mr. Behura, 3G is now outdated, also 3.5G. You should speak about 4G as the Next wave... -
Twin Tracks To Broadband Nirvana !
santhoshavanoor replied to Honest's topic in Other Broadband Discussion
But in India 3G is introduced only before 2 weeks. And there is some problems with the spectrucm allocation. All operators are looking for Metors and importance cities. When they will take care about villages? Why operators are going behind 3G? They should want to look at WiMAX. They can cover village areas also as the same cost or lower than 3G. But they should want to use Mobile WiMAX as Kamal said 802.16e version. Simple doubt: How much they will charge for 3G datas, video calling, and what will be the speed? -
Thanks honest for your detailed information. Now I'm cool....

Dear Administrators/Moderators, Sorry If we are going off the limit with this talks. Dear Mufaddal, Sometimes it will happens, and those who tortured the innocent civilians not related with any type of terrorist activities, they are courtmarshelled by the forces not here in India also everywhere in this world. But I'm confident that our Armed Forces - Not local security forces(Police) - are 99.99% giving full respect to our public and they are well trained for the discipline and to keep India's integrity. Matter of Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, a big mistake from our politicians those who ruled on that time of war(1971). Once Pakistan put down their weapons infront of our army officials in Bangladesh, then our politicians should want to demand to vacate pakistan from PoK. The same may be happened at the time of Kargil War. We have lost our 536(not exact figure) brave soldiers to take control of our high peaked mountain posts. And our forces get into the PoK to eradicate the pak military from our land and they recaptured 17Km of our own land from Pok. But Mr. Vajpayee did a good decision not to return the land what we have recaptured. Now our current prime minister and other leaders should want to take a strong decision with the support of Indians. Next time we don't want any terror attack on our country. And we don't want to loose our own people. Our local people can do more things than an Intelligence agency can do. Or we need a corruption free local security forces to serve people. Really I don't any faith on our local Police.

Not caring about the number of posts.. Just because of curiosity how the forums working and what is the meaning of warning symbols etc. I only noticed it today thats why I asked. Dear dkaile, Thanks for the information.
-
Thank you ACS.... But what about the Warn signal?
-
Dear Arun and Moderators, I have been posted more than 91 posts and still in my profile it is showing 91 posts. Whats the problem? Also I noticed that there is a Warn:(0%) and a bar in my each post. What is that? No other users have that. I think on my early(2005) days with rimweb, did administrators warned me. But I forget for what purpose they warned me. Please help me to solve this. Thanks in advance Santhosh Edited: Now post no. 92 is showing. I'm wondering how this happened!!!!!

But Dear Mufaddal, Our military have no intention to kill our own people. I know that some poor civilians are killed by our forces. But they are helpless. When they are searching for the terrorists, terrorists keep the civilians as human shield or some civilians are joined with the terrorists also. I'm agree with you regarding the military action. There is a but also, our terrorist neighbour country Pakistan have no Dimag to think. They are truly brainless JANWARs. If they use Nuclear arms, we can oppose that, but we will loose our own people. But we Indians are not scared about Pakistan's bark. I'm also supporting a military action against Pakistan. But first we need to demolish the terrorist groups like Indian Mujahiddin, NDF, PDP etc. who spoils our muslim brothers name in our own hearts and in world also. Now a days in Kerala, they are capturing more terrorists. What is happening in our country? Did our governments giving support for them to sacrifying themselves? Or why our people attracted with the terrorist groups? Because of money? Because of discrimination? Because of racism? Because of saddism? Because of ??????????????????????????????????

VT stands for Viceroy's territory Not Victoria Territory since pre-independence days and now a days it is using Victor Tango (Phonetic Language)See link Indian carriers look forward to change VT registration codenews Another link in Timesonline TimesOnline See the link for aircraft registration in wikipedia.List of Aircraft Registration
-
I dont know from which year it started, but all aircrafts has identification number on it. India when it was under british rule, it was given code VT. It means VICTORIA TERRITORY. Once we got independent and if you read about independence of many country - first thing they ever did was to apply for change their code. In India our government slept for so many years and it was Bajpayee government which applied for the first time ever to change code from VT to some thing else. I dont recollect which codes they ased for and why those codes were rejected - but all codes were rejected and by then Bajpayee government regime ended. read code here http://www.airlinecodes.co.uk/regprefixcur.asp Dear Shah, You are right, VT stands for Victoria Territory, because of the british rule in India. But now a days nobody calling Victoria Territory as a call sign for the aircrafts. The call sign is Victor Tango. Eg; if a registration code of an Aircraft is VTA12C, its call sign is Victor Tango Alpha One Two Charlie. As per ICAO rules, nobody can pronounciate as Simplë as "VTA12C" should want to pronounciate full abbreviations as "Victor Tango Alpha One Two Charlie". For flight information code; if the code is AI123, the call sign is Air India 123. For Air India Express, the call sign starts as Express India, For Indian Airlines, Indian, for Jet airways, Jetair; for Gulf air, Gulf air etc.. Once an Aircraft entered in the airspace of each air traffic control tower or the monitoring radar control, they should want to inform the operator their registration code of the aircraft. From that registration code they can know the registration country, aircraft model, type and manufacturing year. After or before landing or take off once again they should want to repeat their codes if requested by ATC. This is the normal procedures.

Thanks Asit, I will do the same. thanks
-
Dear Sadik, Aircrafts have also the registration numbers same like our road transport vehicles, cars, etc. If any aircraft want to fly after production they should want to take registration from IATA(International Air Transport Association) and the aircraft must comply with the rules and regulations of ICAO(International Civil Aviation Organization). Every country have given a starting code of two letters for aircraft registration. But I think we can request IATA/ICAO to change the starting code of India and Mr. Shah posted indicated that we have applied and rejected because If they approve this code, then whole of our aircrafts even Air India, Indian airlines, and other private aircrafts registered in India should want to change their registration numbers and all IATA/ICAO members should want to change these numbers from their databases. it is long procedure and even once you look at the radar monitoring of each airspace, aircrafts are indicated with their registration numbers. Once radar control hand over the aircraft to Air Traffic control, they will call them by using their call sign like AI100, WY 2300 etc. But these codes are for flight route and charting information. Registration code will be permanent and flight code can change if they change their routes. Abbreviations used for IATA/ICAO coding: A: Alpha B: Bravo C: Charlie D: Delta E: Echo F: Foxtrot G: Golf H: Hotel I: India J: Juliet K: Kilo L: Lima M: Mic N: November O: October P: Papa Q: Quebec R: Romeo S: Sierra T: Tango U: Uniform V: Victor W: Whisky X: xray Y: Yankee Z: Zulu. See the I indicating India, If we give more pressure from our side, it is possible to register all Indian aircrafts with our own country codes. I'll check with CAA officials what are the two letter codes given for each countries and if I got it I will post it here. For more information please visit to Airline Codes. You can check various codes for airports, aircrafts, airlines, etc.

Why our politicians are mostly depending upon the western countries? We have the capacity to stand in our own legs. If Nokia is not apologising, Our government should want to warn them. Public should want to ask our government to issue explanation from Nokia. If they are not responding within the certain time We don't want Nokia in our country and surely I will thow away my N73. If you look on other countries top officials and scientists, the head will be an Indian. We are Indians and our people can do anything even in technology, sciency, medical, construction, aerospace, etc. etc. Recently Shamil Bank from Bahrain appointed Mr. Hariharan as their senior Manager - Risk Management. Hariharan is named senior manager of Shamil Bank There is lot of Indians serving other countries even myself.(I'm Not a top official, normal Engineer). If India will give them opportunity to serve our contry, we are the super power in this world. Edited: I checked in Garmin Maps also, It is showing LoC and International Border on it and not clear. But what I have studied in my school days, defenitely it is not in Garmin.
