I have used Nokia N 73, still using Nokia 5800 xpress music (both are overpriced), still using Spice C810, Karbonn 451M. So I know there are difference in these sets, and now planning to say bye bye to Nokia. I have checked Samsung UI, it is better than nokia UI. But as of all of us knows that Spice, Karbonns are not fully supported JAVA applications and some other cool stuffss.. You are right, because we have used nokia from early. Karbonn will improve their customer service centre very soon. If they are not doing it, surely, they will wanish from the market. one of my simple exprience with Spice mobiles, on April 2008 I have brought Spice D88 from Reliance Centre at Thrissur. I have experienced the battery problem with that mobile, so I went to exchange the mobile with them. Simply they told me that they doesn't have a replacement, but they will contact spice service center. Infront of me they contacted Kochi spice service centre(at that time only one centre in Kerala; now how many I don't know), they adviced reliance executive to replace with another mobile for time being until they have replace with new set. But I prefer for spice C810, then they exchanged with the new mobile, I have got the balance amount from them also. Did Nokia service center will do this?

Is anybody knows that Nokia is gradually shutting down their Europe factories? Before here in Gulf we can get Nokia mobile phones from Finland, Holland etc. Now a days nokia phones are coming from China, and even from India... I can say that Nokia quality is not too good compare to Indian mobiles(even it is chineese crap). I can give 4 out of 5 for nokia and 3 out of 5 for Karbonn and Spice. But chineese models which is not under indian brand is really worst and I can give 0.5 out of 5. I think indian companies are importing the parts and they are assembling here in India. I have nokia 5800 xpress music and Karbonn 451M with me. Once I have shown karbonn mobile to my colleagues they have liked the Karbonn mobile. Here in Bahrain, there is more chineese crap mobiles available, but nobody likes that. But once I have shown Karbonn they want to purchase this model. Battery life: compare to nokia single sim, karbonn dual sim mobile battery life is more. And a wonderful thing is that Karbonn is using nokia's battery for their dual sim. But people are running behind the branded name; and nokia is one of the first companies those who introduced mobiles to the world.

dont know answer regarding your question, but Karbonn Mobiles provided KC555 model which acts as either GSM+GSM OR GSM+CDMA.... Ok, Thanks I'll search in internet to get more information regarding this.

But why people rely on Nokia? There is good quality mobile phones in India. Like Karbonn, Spice, etc.

But my one simple question is that how a GSM slot can work as a CDMA slot? Can you please clarify this with some technical meaning?

Now I have one doubt that we can retain our CDMA number to any GSM operator number or not? That means reliance cdma to reliance GSM or Aircel GSM or Tata Docomo?

Hi friends and administrators, Can anybody will post the settings for Aircel WAP, MMS, GPRS for Karbonn mobile? I have searched rimweb.in but failed to get the required information. At the same time I have contacted customer care or Aircel, they gave me some informations which I posted below. But it is not working for me. When I tried to use MMS or WAP, mobile phone itself going to restart and sometimes it is showing not connected. Can anybody have any idea? I came back to bahrain and tried to use GPRS in my Karbonn mobile here with zain and Batelco(2 mobile operators) and it is not worked. But I used the same settings in my nokia phone, gprs is working. My Karbonn is switching off itself once GPRS(Web browser) is on. Do anybody have any idea why this is happening?

Yeah.... BSNL is a Government Owned company. Regular practice of government offices followed by BSNL to help private operators.

When It will be introduced in Kerala rural areas? Still we are using 256kbps broadband and thru wll phones it is worstier than dial up connection.

Thanks Gaurav, I tried with APN name change to aircelgprs, but it is not working and phone againg restarting...
