Ok, i got inspired by a freinds pavillion lappie which has a remote control and thought that if his laptop...which has a ir port and a remote which has an ir port can communicate and the remote can control the laptop...basic func like volume, startin media played etc....why cnt my 6235 do the same? i researched and found a couple of applications for my pc that create shortcut buttons for various functions...the aim is pretty logical and simple..i need to get my computer to recognize the signal sent by the phone and in turn respnd in the way that i have caliberated it...anyone got any views on this? is this possible? would be pretty kvlt if it is...some phones do hv some remote control apps...cn my humble 6235 also do that?

hmm...i have the same phone and my battery easily lasts 2 days and that includes 2-2.5 hrs of talking...strange..seems like you need to get urs checked up

hi all, since the last 5 hours i hv beeen in a desperate bid to get my 6235 to work...i hv had it since a long time and never b4 have i had this prob... i cant make outgoin calls, cant get incoming..no messages...the service area alert...yes the annoying one...it has stoppped comin and when i go to setting>network settings>service area it says yet to be registered...asked a frnd to cal up customer care and they as usual were helpless and rude...psplsplsplspls help... have done the routine take the batt out and put in etc...how can i reset the nam on this phone...used to work with my old lg...pls help... also..i hv full signal.. and...sometimes once in a while i am able to make a cal or two..but then again the prob starts....?? its jus stuck on callin........

^^absolutely nothing... rim is wierd.... the cc kept tellin me to go near a window, turn phone off n then on...etc...

there r many bluetooth remote controls there...what i need is for ir... i need a software that can send out minute packets of data thru the ir port of my phone which the comp can recognise and then respond to...there r many apps for the comp but none for the phone...at least none that i hv come across...

arey bhai...i hv my exams goin on...n the nokia service centre needs means atleast 5-6 hours r gone..at least the last time i went there the waitin was SSAAAAADDDDDD........

hey all... first of all...wanna start off by sayin that this phone is a f*&kin fantastic phone...it has surpassed all my expectations when i bought it today...and it looks pretty sleek too... i was havin trouble puttin mp3 songs onto the phone...i use nokia pc suite but when thru the file browser i try to open the phones directory it says...:"the operation could not be completed" can someone pls help me out...pklsplslsplsplspls help...i have no prob in sendin stuff from the phone to the comp but other way round in givin me probs...
