Is Rconnect a viable solution for someone who is a fairly heavy user of the internet - online 6-8 hours a day, but with moderate to low traffic most of the time? Can you recv calls when not in dormant mode? How does it compare in terms of speed and latency with Touchtel's 128 Kbps DSL solution, and Tata Indicom's FWP internet access?

Looks like my 7230 has a problem - I can either set it to Vibrator mode, or Ring mode -- but not a combination of the two. Is there some way to get this ? S/w upgrade, etc?

I have the 7230, and this pertains to the 7230 - not sure if other models have the same problem: Entering words into T9's database with "abc" mode is fine and useful -- but 7230 insists on even adding numbers to the database from "123" mode. Once the number is stored, it becomes a pain to type, as the number comes up first!! Anyone know a way of telling T9 "don't add numbers" to the database?

I got a RD7230 phone, but the CD that came with the phone is bent, so I cannot use it on my drive (get I/O device error on Windows 2000). Contacted WebWorld, and LG Service center, but they dont have the CD or the files with them for this phone. Also not there at www.lgmobiles.com. I got the R-Connect software from www.relianceinfo.com, but they dont have the PC-Sync software for this model. Does anyone know a place where I can download this software? Or can someone upload this on the net somewhere, and send the link to this forum? It is a lot of data - I guess several MB....but hopefully someone out there has a fast connection and can help me with this! Thanks, VLP
