WHAT??? so u can't receive MMS on phone?!! that's bad, really really bad. The list is just started, of what Relianced has f^ed with this intrincically good handset. Guys the thing is, i got the 6265 handset on 31st jul.....sent a mms( with picture and audio) on the same night to a lg rd 6130 which was recieved there. soon i got a mms from reliance (system@mms.ricmail.com) that my legacy account has been upgraded to mms account and can be accessed on the internet. (i was earlier using lg rd 7230 which only had mms support thru r world) so doesn't this mean that this phone is supposed to have mms. How the hell did that first mms go? how did i get that one mms from reliance?how come i can still send mms but not recieve any? *333 operators are as usual acting as trained monkeys...."sir our system doesn't show support for your phone"!!! Anyone who's actually used the mms succesfully.....do reply! as of now no one seems to know hether its supposed to work or not!!!!

anyone tried the mms? my phone is not recieving any!! just got one mms from reliance after i tried sending one mms two days back. it said that my legacy account has been upgraded to mms account and can be accessed on the reliance site. i haven't recieved any mms since then. although they are going fine. i checked the mms settings (*#667#) and found that meltimedia server address is blank. *333 doesn't know wat to do? can anyone help me with this?

u can only send to and receive mms from RIM phones this is what *333 told me i know that mms works only for RIM. the issue is that my 6265 is sending mms to rim phones and e mail addresses but it is not recieving any. the recieved mms can be viewed on http://mms.relianceinfo.com/mms but does not appear on the mms inbox in the phone.

i'm facing one problem, the phone is sending mms fine but not recieving any. i checked the mms link on the web and all mms sent to me are there but have not been recieved on the phone. i've activated multimedia reception and tried everything i could think off...even called *333 but as usual they are clueless about the phone. can someone help me?

Well yes even I connect using my Bluetooth software and not Nokia pc suite.There is some connectivity driver problem with the Nokia pc suite.I had the same problem in my Nokia 6255 handset also.But as you have mentioned that you are easily able to connect manually then no worries. thanks schumi even i thought so..... another point to ponder..... can the led flash be used as a flashlight!!! i mean a flashlight torch

hi schumi i read in one of your posts that ur using netconnect thru bluetooth. just wanted to know if u are using the pc suite to connect or have set it up mannually. i tried to configure the pc suite to use internet via bluetooth....didn't work. could it be a conflict with the pc suite applications? anyway it works fine if i use the mannually configured connection....otherwise it says the there was problem in the bluetooth modem. help me with this if you can.

Answers to ur queries 1) the media players do not have fast forward or rewind feature> 2) The sms can be stored in UIM (capacity 150) and/or in the phone (approx 20MB for the gallery). i haven't been able to find a way to store the sms into the mini sd card. 3) yes, individual nos. can be assigned ringtones.

Hi guys, Is there a way to activate the phone lock. the user manual mentions the feature of phone lock but it just doesn't appear on the security sub menu. just mentions the security code and pin code options there. i really do miss the privacy lock feature of the lg rd7230. is there a way we can lock our inbox and phonebook in this phone.

Dear Chirag, Here all of u r qustions solutions 1. First go to the "go to" options then click "Options" buttons and then click "Select Options" and mark all those things which u want. there is a simple way to check the missed call , Received call n Ringing Valume. 2. Also there is another way also by clicking Menu>Setting>Phone>Nevigation Key. So that u can change the setting in u r Scroll Key bec this key has phone names in upper n lower button I have a one query regarding display name that when i go to the Menu>Setting>Display>Banner>Personalise But friends I cant change the banner name instead of Relaince So any one has got this solution then pl reply me Hi guys, i found the solution to the problem regarding change of banner. it apperently doesn't work if the auto time update feature is turned on. once you turn off that option in the date and time section, you can just switch off the phone once and then personalise the banner. reliance will pop up again if u turn on the aotu time update feature.

I've used the phone for a day. 2 points: the world clock application is of no use as you can't set the phone time to indian region and the user guide mentions a feature of phone lock but it doesn't figure in the security menu.....just shows the pin and the security code options. Also if you want to set a personalised banner..... u need to turn off the auto time update feature, otherwise the default banner (Reliance) comes on itself. I'm still new to the phone and the forum......will post new observations/ queries in the coming days.
