  1. Mobile Internet on Reliance CDMA

Due to their stupid plan for CDMA and no response for any requests from lots of users regarding the NUC charges. I just ported my number to Reliance GSM. My data plan post paid rs 99 per month- 2.5 gb free.. No hidden charges. No matter you use it in phone or through pc unless you are using less than 2.5 gb its free! They asked me when i was doing MNP whats the reason. I told them the data plan thing and they were like, in a few months new plans will come! I was like this is the same story since the beginning. Only one issue.. Network is not that great compared to CDMA. If this irresponsible company had proper business executives they could have made CDMA a lot better.
  2. May I please humbly ask about what data plan is best for HTC Touch Pro? There are problems with NUC and stuff with most of the plans. So how are rest of the guys using their HTC phones for browsing? Are there any unlimited plans or are there any limited plans in which we don't have to pay extra NUC other than the plan rental? Any Specific settings as such? Any Information will be truly appreciated. Thank you.
  3. I lodged a couple of complaints. Sent around 4 mails to customer care. No response and no use. I am not using my phone for browsing at all. Just because of the provider such a waste of the phone's brilliance. When I asked about the Windows Mobile plans they are saying its not there. Its been discontinued.. Oh goodness.. When all other providers have data plans why not this bunch of losers. Can't even change my provider since I have a cdma phone.
  4. Energyrom for Touch Pro CDMA

One of the best Roms that can be used with Touch Pro is the Energy ROM. Try the latest version, it shows the cutting edge technology of Windows 6.5 and what touch pro can really offer Here is the official link http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=69545
  5. Energyrom for Touch Pro CDMA

I am sorry that you are having trouble but to be candid i have no such problems You can disable vibration.. I think you should meddle with the phone a bit.. For example - for sms in sounds and notifications you can disable vibration. For me no issue with plus code dialing or voice commands..
  6. Energyrom for Touch Pro CDMA

When you go through Settings - Personal - Phone, and in there Services tab, there are a couple of options. Plus Code Dialing is one of them. Is it off? You might wanna turn it off if it is on. That should resolve the problem. Also Automatic Prepend option should be turned off. tried it no luck.. in fact i dont know the reason, its not working.. have installed Hp reliance setting cabs? some1 suggested to use magicall, but dont know how to use?? Did you find the Automatic prepend option? is it turned off in your phone? By the way are you using the EnergyRom or some other rom?
  7. Energyrom for Touch Pro CDMA

But how can this problem arise in the first place? The plus code dialing is based on the North American Dialing system and by doing the before mentioned procedure i resolved my issue. There must be something else i suppose..
  8. Username - CoolPad2938@wap.relianceinfo.com Password - TY258pjhgt Dial number - #777 Proxy address - wapgw.ricinfo.com port - 8080 go to wap.rworld.co.in from internet explorer.. rworld should work.. Do you get billed according to 50p per MB plan? or is it just the normal case..
  9. I know those two methods actually.. My question was a little different.. There are mobile internet plans in Rworld. I can access Rworld and I can also subscribe to the Mobile Internet Plans. The only issue I only get billed for the 50p per MB scheme a few times. The rest of the time I am billed according to 5p for 10kb. I am not pretty sure how i can get billed exclusively according to 50p per MB scheme. I hope I am being myself clear and making my point as less obscure as possible. I use proxy settings. With or without proxy setting I get billed for 5p per 10kb which i am not interested in. And I know for sure it is possible to get billed according to the mobile internet plans but don't know just how.

  11. Any other plan? What about the mobile internet plan.. What are the correct proxy settings to be used so that i will get charged according to the plan (50p per MB) and not (5p per 10kb)
  12. Touch Pro.. Yet Another Problem...

Just do a hard reset.. and If possible try backing up before doing so.. Energy Rom is better but it depends personally.. I find it better and fast.
  13. Energyrom for Touch Pro CDMA

Try flashing a new radio.. I bet it will work after that.. What is your Radio version currently?
  14. Energyrom for Touch Pro CDMA

As I have mentioned before it will get solved if you do Task29 or clear storage. I am running this Rom without any issues for the past Five Months. Its fast and stable.

  16. Some Essentials For Touch Pro

Yes the softwares and games will work I presume. But not the device specific hacks.
  17. Energyrom for Touch Pro CDMA

In total commander go to the windows folder and search for epst.exe and dmrouter.exe Create shortcuts for each of them somewhere in SD card. Once you create the shortcut, check out its properties, there will be two tabs 'General' and 'Shortcut'. In 'Shortcut' tab put the following in the Target box For EPST "\Windows\EPST.exe" ##778 For DMRouter "\Windows\DMRouter.exe" /DIAG Now click on the shortcuts, it should work now.
  18. Task29

Task29 wipes the RAM on your device. Reason for using it -- When flashing custom ROM's, you will find after a lot of flashes that things are buggy. You can help most of these bugs disappear when you do a clear storage. However, after many flashes, clear storage doesn't seem to clear all bugs. When you flash a ROM, you overwrite the data on your RAM chip with new data. Sometimes data that might be on a block in one ROM may not exist in another ROM. As a result, since the data doesn't exist in the second ROM, you don't overwrite it. That data interferes with the new ROM. Clear Storage attempts to wipe all the data off the chip, but not all of it. There is still some data left A Clear Storage clears more data then doing a Hard Reset with the button combo. Both methods clear all data. Since stuff still can be left behind even after a clear storage, you sometimes need to flash your SP's (Service Providers) Stock ROM. The stock RUU goes through Task28 before the flash. Task28 clears FATFS (storage memory), Task29 clears BINFS (where our XIP is and the files we cooked in to a rom). So technically, flashing stock is even better then this.. So Task29 wipes every single block with blank data. After running Task29, you should not be able to boot past the splash screen! Since you wiped the entire chip (instead of overwriting with a different ROM) After doing Task29 establish an active-sync connection by going into bootloader from power off by pushing and holding Power+Volume down until you see the tricolor screen then connect your phone to your PC, wait till it says USB on the bottom, flash as normal. An alternate method would be to place the raphimg.nbh (orginally named ruu_signed.nbh) on the root of the storage card and go into bootloader using above method. Task29 runs from a RUU just like a custom ROM/Radio. It needs to flash something, since we don't want to use a ROM, we can use a Radio or a Splash Screen. Flashing with Splash screens are much safer You need to be HSPL Unlocked in order to do the flashing just like when you flash custom Roms/ Here are links to the files strictly for Touch Pro CDMA Task29 which uses the Sprint Radio for flashing http://www.4shared.com/file/9ndoxw8G/task29_Sprint__v11234F.html Task29 with no NBH http://www.4shared.com/file/pLbi81kA/task29_no_NBH.html Task29 with Spash Screen http://www.4shared.com/file/DvD23y2i/task_29_with_splash_screen.html
