Thanks Chirag for your findings. But in my mobile I am getting only 3 items in RUIM Menu. They are 1) Select Area 2) Network Sync 3) Software Ver Assuming my RUIM is less featured Chirag... Can you please comment on the support nokia is proving for 6265.. As of Now there is No Support for 6265 and what i assume is even if they do provide it in future it will be Lame support. With Basic query and troubleshooting. I am sure This website will be better resource than Nokia/Reliance CC. In Contact center language "I understand your problem, However as of now we dont provide this service. Whenever we will start this service, we will let you know through Relavant Media. Thanks, However I tried using this option but as you rightly mentioned it pulls up the number in sequence you saved it and also doesnt show the name so we dont know whose number it is till we dial it. But still came to know something new that you can pull numbers like this. Thanks. I will try to get some application which resolves this issue, but seems to be difficult as its java phone.

Hi, If I have understood your issue accurately then, there is a solution. Example you have 2 numbers under the same name, Maybe one Mobile which is Default and another is Landline. While Dialling the 1st Number if its switched off and now you want to dial the other number without going into contacts and selecting the number as per the long procedure you described, Just go to your Dialled numbers, by pressing call key, If any contact has more then 1 number then on the center of the screen it will show as Details, Click on Details and will show all numbers saved for that contact select the one you want and dial. But the only glitch is you will atleast once have to dial the other number and only then in the dialled numbers the option of Details will be available. and The same details will stay uptill that number is in the history of Dialled numbers. If you have only 1 number for the contact then it will show as View in the center of the screen. I hope this solves your problem.

Hi, I might sound very silly, however Shumi, Tanveer or some expert can you tell me whether can we record videos on 3GP format? It records on 3G2 format. I have checked the quality of Recording on 6270 and on 6265, all the features are almost same but noticed a huge quality difference in Video recording. Any say on this? My Video Quality settings are already set to High. If somebody has a 6270 then check it out and am sure you will notice a huge difference. Still Image is of the same Quality though. Videos on 6270 are in 3GP format and on 6265 is 3G2 format.

Hi Anoop, I know you are really disappointed with 6265. Would just like to help you with Call forwarding and Call Waiting, Well I think this phone is the easiest to enable call forwarding and waiting. If you know the procedure then n fine else here are the steps. 1. Go to Relaince Menu in the phone (Last option) 2. Select Call Forward option 3. Select the type of Call forwarding you want, If you want all calls to be forwarded, than select "Immediate" 4. Select Enable 5. Enter the number where you want to forward the calls with the STD code. 6. Select Default code 7. It will ask "Allow UIM card to call?" Select "Yes" After this a call will be made and listen to the message, your call forwarding will be activated. To deactivate just select Disable all and all the forwards will be disabled.

I agree to certain points raised by you all guys, however have no issues as I never expected out of boundaries keeping in mind CDMA and Reliance. I would certainly take side of Reliance as We all are running away from the fact that we are here because of The Network and Tariffs of Reliance. I dont use WAP, maybe because If I have enough time to write on this website then I should definetly have enough time to surf on the same machine and not on 320 X 240 screen. About Themes, I agree settings change, so the solution is dont change your Themes frequently. I am satisfactory results from the phone, would have loved if It was S60, but thats not a reason to be disappointed as I already its S40 phone.

The Phone is definetly good, maybe the best is Reliance offered CDMA sets. The only thing you should not expect is "Its not a s60 phone" this is Java based S40 phone. Otherwise yes this phone offers almost all best features todate. If you are planning to stick to Reliance for some decent time then no hassles go ahead and get it....

Dear Shashank, have already tried getjar but as of now theres no application besides Dictaphone which works on s40 phone. Also Dictaphone doesnt work on 6265. Till date theres mostly no software for s40 v3 however should be available in near future...

Hey i use the nokia multimedia player (bundled with PC suite)to convert videos into 3gp format.... i think it does a pretty decent job.... is Xilisoft a better option? I havent tried PC suite yet, however Xilisoft allows you to convert into various formats like mpg,mp4,avi,3gp,real audio,real video....

As you menionted that you have put a Screen Guard the 2nd day you purchased the handset and still you are facing the problem then maybe I have been lucky that I have not yet faced the problem of dust and hopefully I stay away from this problem as long as possible. Anyways Can you tell us from where did you purchase the Screen Guard of the Nokia 6265 handset.The shop name and the address please.Also the price.And Is the Screen Guard specially of Nokia 6265 or some other model which fits on this handset. I got my scratch guard from Borivli -(Indraprasth Shopping centre -Basement) This is whole Mobile Market and yes I got the one which exclusive for Nokia 6265. Price range it between 300-350.

I am already searching for Full screen caller, but not found any till now. I am sure we will get these applications soon, as S40 3rd edition now offers lot of option to programmers. We need to keep searching to an extent where even Google fails to search. Remember Google is just a search engine and it wont pull all the best results. There are many other unrecognised sites where there are apps available but not found on google. so we all need to search hard for such tools.

As everybody said, the battery gets full life only after its charged full for few times. We should avoide charging for long times, as Inside the battery there are cells which actually get the charge and then it supllies the power, by overcharging the life of these cells go down and slowly one by one they die, due to which the cell phones require more and more charging, which in turn reduces the life of battery. So its better to charge the battery in full whenever required, but dont overcharge. Also would recommend that let the battery drain out completely and then keep it for charging. I know we dont follow this, we keep it for charging as soon as the battery is showing one bar. Atleast we can avoid half charge and over charge....
