Hi, I am using LG 6230 The upload speed through my mobile reach uoto 100 - 200 kbps during the day and 200- 360 kbps during the night. While the download speed i noticed is 20 - 50 kbps during the day and 50 - 110 kbps during the night. Does anybody suggest how to make download speed on par with upload settings. The download speeds are on par with bsnl telephone modem during the day. I have sent a query to Reliance customer care. Still awaiting their reply. Regards Praveen

DRAWBACKS OF LG RD 6230 LG 6230 lacks better picture quality photos, NO ADJUSTMENT to contrast, no night mode, zoom 4x is very lousy....picture quality looses with zoom dramatically....zoom function is the most useless..& no picture editor zoom function does not function when you are taking post card size photographs....you can take only post card size photographs with this mobile. You cant even take pictures of your monitor size... Other world class mobiles offer to give a photo of atleast 1632 x 1224, but this mobile higher up is only 640 x 480 lacks larger color display, the screen is so small, you dont feel at ease with it.......Even NOkia CDMA have better size display panel.. has stereo quality SOUND but no bass Supports only mp3 ...dores not support wmv. aac, real audio ......etc video is the worst and very poor quality...even the video file mjp format cannot be played with any media player. No player on your PC can play their video format.... It calls itself a jukebox............but no FM RADIO. They call it a JUKE BOX without providing any SD card. As if they sell 200 Rs data cable at 1400 Rs. They might even sell 1200 Rs mini Sd card for 4,000 Rs...if you insist them on providing them one... LG & Reliance expects you to but the data cable seperatly, they dont give that with mobile....and they charge 1400 Rs for that, while it sells for 150 - 200 outside.... So much for their sincerity and world class organisation YOU CANT SURF ON THE LG 6230 MOBILE...............NOT EVEN WAP SITES , doesnt have a fully functional internet browser at all....

Hey check out Sony walkman phones b4 u think of getting reliance lg or nokia. Sony is far more superior than lg and sony reliance mobiles. Ofcourse sony mobiles are not CDMA. But those who have a look at the features of Sony type mobiles feel that LG 6230 is a decade old model for sure.... I now repent getting LG CDMA 6230 ....but will on to it for few years b4 changing the handset

Hi I just got a LG RD 6230, I feel the picture quality and video suits the size of such mobile available in the market. After all we cant expect a DVD quality motion video and 5.0 Megapixel picture quality from a mobile. One has to use their Handycam / Good quality digital camera. One cannot carry their bulky handycam and digital camera with them all the time. For such times LG 6230 can come in handy and its always fun to use it at leisure. One can share their photos via email straight from the location. I feel IPOD is lot better than any mobile with juke box or FM radio. .....I dont know aboout Sony ericsson, but IPOD sound quality and large color display are the best and it stores upto 60 GB video, audio and images and it slimmer than LG 6230 . Ofcourse IPOD too has its own limitations, it plays only mps and only ipod movie files. Here LG RD 6230 plays mpj format only. You can play that with VIDEO LAN player on your system available from www.videolan.org. But I have not found a suitable movie converter to and fro from mpj .
