LG RD 6130 (Reliance)
USB Cable for LG Phone
CD with Drivers / RConnect Dialer
Story so far:
I currently work in the US (techie) and am in India for vacation.
Phone & RConnect account belongs to dad who has used it on his laptop (Dell) and one desktop PC at home.
I am able to use RConnect right now to post this via the desktop PC+ Rconnect (with LG) combination.
I initially did not have the CD so my repeated attempts to use the DRIVERS from the reliance info website resulted in failed attempts to have my laptop detect and recognize the phone as modem.
I finally got the CD and was able to install the drivers/ dialer etc.
Now I tried to use the DIALUP connection (RConnect LG RD 6130 usb) and am not able to get online.
I have basically replicated all the settings from the Desktop PC to my laptop and it fails with a message that says something to the tune of username /pwd and domain issue.
Is there a way I can fix this and /or do I have to call Reliance people or go to a local Reliance centre.
Which will be faster?
Who would definitely be able to solve this?
Any DIY suggestions?
