Well cracker, i am here to get a solution to get rconnect on linux ubuntu

i guess its the issue with the device in usbwizard file of rconnect script. but even me dunno the device address correctly is it /dev/xxX ?? i tried many comb. nothing turned out good.. moreoever, i dont have any other distro with me so help me out with this

lofi version is not inteneded for use with wap browsers, maybe mobiles with xhtml browsers would do perfect.

Whatever proxy u use, dont expect a speed higher than the capped speed by your isp. proxies are usefull for accessing blocked sites, by ur isp

if you can get hold of some mobile accessories shop and get in terms with them. Ask them to give you the cable for a day or 2 for a nominal amount. Not a usual proceedure, still try your luck

ubuntu for intel x86 works on my amd sempron. anyways try installing, if the cd is not meant for your sys config, ubuntu will not install, it will say that you are in wrong area

In the file system click the first + in the expanded thing goto NVM and right click and hexdump first or second file you might find a 6 digit no. try it on.

That stuff doesnot work. it gives me same errors.

For people out here who are familiar with networking area.. Windows Terminal Services as per Microsoft is available only in windows 2000 server editions. does anybody know to enable the same in windows 2000 pro ? any third-party softs to do this ?? Or do you have any similar softwares similar to Windows Terminal Services.. I would appreciate informative posts. Thanks..

Here is the Rconnect script i am using. for sudo apt-get install kppp do i need to download any app or anything.. or it just installs this from system files ?.. anyways not much imp. i just need to get it connected to internet (rconnect) rconnect_cmdline_1.0.tar

Thanks vishaal the sudo commands were a charm i tried rconnect installation wizard. and here is the output. i have attached it. something wrong with the device set in script. can any of you help me edit script to suit my systems usb config. You can know more about my system usb and ports from the files having dmesg command logs. i have posted in my first post in this topic. @adwait the command pppoeconf made my system kinda under heavy process. i waited for almost 10-15 minutes still no change in screen but system process light is constantly blinking. and my mouse is very slow in its movement. Also somebody tell me. once in configure a connection using pppconfig How do i dial that connection ? log.txt

boss client is available everywhere.. no issues its useless unless we got a satisfactory server.. I need to put the terminal services on windows 2000 professional. if anybody got ideas on doing this or any other soft which does exactly the same job, let me know.

Vishal i dont need any remote access service. i got better stuff of that in pc anywhere and all when you access the server pc, the mouse and screen and everything is controlled by the client user but in terminal services, the client user has a different, independent work area.
