Guys let me clear something i needed a internet connection here to connect to our office VPN on a daily basic. I had TATA Indicom FWP Internet, thru which vpn was not possible. We will be able to connect, but as soon as data transfer starts, it would be disconnected. When inquired i came to knew that TATA doesnt give VPN on wireless stuffs. but it did work on TATA-VSNL BROADBAND. In case of Reliance FWP & Mobiles, it does work. I am currently using VPN On Reliance FWP for around 2 months. Working perfect. We are using 2 VPNS Checkpoint Secure VPN and Normal Windows VPN Client both working perfect

first of all i dun think u need the nokia software to connect gprs when u connect ur phone it should install ur nokia modem driver (if nokia pc suite and modem drivers are installed in ur system) if nokia suits connection manager detects ur phone disconnect it from nokia connection manager create a new dialup connection with any user/pass and dial up no *99***1# and dial also dont forget to set the gprsaccess point to airtelgprs.com under connectivity in ur phone make sure u have gprs mobile office setting in ur phone and also ur access point is selected as airtelgprs.com under connectivity

lg 2030 + USB i too had many probs.. serial cable worked properly, USB i couldnt get to work.. I guess some compatibility issues with the cable make.

In each pc in ww you dont even have a start menu, desktop or anything Well the pcs run on Windows XP though Too much restriction You can login with ur private id/pass here is the screen which comes after you login this comes instead of desktop

Normally, or may i say it would be ver very very rare that u need a 10 or 11 quote in your post. Not a big issue.. if needed more, you can use CODE I guess it doesnt make any difference, except that in the top it says CODE instead of QUOTE.

You sure does have to connect ur phone to ur pc using a cable as u do with reliance and all.. DONT TELL ME u dint know that

first you have to receive the settings from bsnl.. i am not sure but i guess you would find them somewhere in their site under the gprs section. configure ur phone according to that it contains detailed instructions too

well vishal which was ur usb-serial port adapter company if u have used ? also wats the port speed under device manager set for that ?

maybe its a used one refurbished

well access ur phones filesystem thru bitpim under that u will c a nvm folder under a nvm folder in that select the second file and right click and click hexdump in that u will be able to find ur 6 digit security code
