Any idea how we can get a log of the sms sent via symbian applications in phone. or the operator menu in phone. Is it possible ? I need to know the sms format of the sms being sent.

I found SIM-EMU v6 which could read the sim stk menu. It even simulates the sim card operator menu in the sim card. But the problem is it doesnt show the sms format or to which number it is sent. Also i read specification, I still couldn get how to communicate with the sim card. I mean should that be through a hyperterminal connecting directly to my sim card reader. If so i tried but no response from reader through it. Any ideas ? Anybody have read the sim stk menu to pc via a sim card reader ?

SIM Application toolkit 2.0 based explanation material had come out to me earlier when i googled but i thot it was for developing applications for sim, not to get the sms sent by them Could you give me some abc method where i can get the sms format of sms sent by phone. i just need to know the sms format of few things in my sim menu, so that for repeated actions i can store the input as sms and just sent it.

yes reliance dns servers were not responding for airtel site, nor any other dns servers when used through reliance broadnet were giving response to airtel.in dns query. one solution was to add airtel.in ip to windows hosts file

Why do you need the IMEI number? Hi Niravana, We are in process of getting the Symbian Sign from Nokia. Till then we are managing with a developer sign for tha application which requires the imei number. This Sign is required for the Symbian version to work. check your cable crimping. are u sure your cable is cross over ? if u have a cable tester, check with it.

Its because these pages are reading icon from /forums/ folder which is having the V shaped icon in it. @arun guess updating favicon in this folder from root might solve.

If you are having a bsnl landline you dont need any thing, just one copy of your last bill. go with that, pay the initial charges, get connection within 10-20 minutes

Never buy an instrument from bsnl, be it broadband or evdo. They dont offer service, only replacement. When warranty period is over you are stuck for a repair.

I doubt any operator will give you direct access to their smsc over the internet. According to my knowledge BSNL is the only one that still opens SMSC through SMPP for 3rd party users. Secondly its not an end user product. You just cannot go and take it. Most operators require you to have a volume in lakhs, and most of them need you to have over a 1 million to give the lowest rates.

BSNL Evdo modem mg478 is ruim enabled. BSNL is not using ruim instead have programmed stuffs into set. instructions n pst is available at bsnlevdo.com

Yes bsnl rocks in rates and plans but remember as they have mentioned these rates are only till the 6 month of jan 08 till their trials are on
