Losing a mobile phone is quite a regular phenomenon these days with the speed at which people travel (thieves included). The toughest part after losing your phone is adding your entire list of contacts back onto it. Friends and relatives aside, I am sure you would be upset if you lost all those precious dating contacts. This gizmo fits its tag perfectly. Termed as the Mogo SIM Card Backup, one can backup the contact list from your SIM card to this device in less than a minute. In a situation where most of us either misplace our mobile phone or are not willing to memorize numbers, this keychain-interfaced gizmo is the perfect backup device for your mobile phone. Simple in operation, one has to just remove the SIM card from your mobile and insert it into this device. The transfer of numbers from the SIM to this gizmo is completed once the red LED goes off. Copying back the saved data to a new SIM is pretty much the same process. Weighing just 16g and measuring 44 x 45 x 10.5 mm, this portable gizmo has an internal memory of 8 KB EEPROM to store 250 numbers. It also supports data exchange between SIMs of different networks and is compatible with all GSM specifications. Price: 20 USD Availability: Online

Just another call centre to give incorrect info!! I dont think the customers will be happy unless they get a satisfactory answer from the customer care for the problem for which they call up.. Atleast hope this new segment of ppl would be trained properly for this.. -

Reliance Profits From Users Loss (4 new schemes)
Ashokjp replied to Greens's topic in Reliance Communications
Reliance Profits from Users Loss Source: Techree Update, April 22 2004 Reliance Infocomm has launched four new schemes for its prepaid customers. The new scheme include the introduction of LG RD 2230 handset and lowering the price existing LG RD 2030, Moonlight LG RD 2130, Nokia 2280 models. The revised price lists for the existing handsets are Rs.2, 999 for Nokia 2280 handsets, Rs.3, 499 for LG RD 2030 and Rs.4, 499 for Moonlight LG RD 2130. The new LG RD 2230 phone is priced at Rs.3, 499. All these schemes will be available in 2-3 days. Although the prices of the existing handsets are lowered from Rs.6, 500 to the entry level price of Rs.2, 999, yet the hidden tactic behind the scheme draws a huge amount of profit in favour of the company and loss to the users. It is because earlier with Rs.6, 500, users got 20 prepaid coupons worth Rs.6, 480 free, thereby paying a surplus amount of Rs.20 only. But with this new launch the users are given only one free coupon worth Rs.324, which means that they have to actually pay a surplus amount of at least Rs.2, 675 (which may increase depending upon the choice of the handsets). Generally middle-class Indian users always go for the cheapest option available in the market. Identifying this trend, Reliance has developed a very clever marketing policy, which will lure users with the reduced amount of down payment money and simultaneously fetch a huge amount of profit for the company. -
Happy Birthday !!! coolest_aman(18), gdi123(17) Enjoy your day
