Hi But according to me.. when my isp disconnects me.. i will be shown as online in yahoo... bcz the chat application has not yet send any command to sign out or any kinda stuff like tat.. So you might be online in yahoo until Reliance closes ur connection and the Status icons disappears saying disconnected... Or you should click sign out or close yahoo messenger program... Dormant is a situation when your connection state is idle... That is as chirag said no data transfer is going on As someone said in a topic.. you wont be charged for the time you are connected.. you will be charged for only the time the data is transferred.. If i am right you wont be charged when your phone shows "Dormant"

I dont think so.. bcz in the FAQs of R-connect in Reliance website.. there is a question asking whether it would be proper to remove cable instead of disconnecting first... There they have answered it wont be a problem but they suggest to disconnect properly.. So if there was such a way tat you wont be charged.. they wouldnt have answered so...

I have tried a lot to find a software, as sms is free in my handset it would be nice... Check This thread LG-2030 AT Commands One guy mailed me that there is a software inside the r-connect kit to send sms.. But when i asked people having the kit... they told me they dint see anything like that

You can get your Handset software upgraded from the nearest service centre.. Its absolutely free of cost.. There are changes.. Well most of the changes comes in the phones network stuff... There arent any major modifications in the interface.. Like i had a problem in receiving calls with my old software.. Ppl used to receive messages that my phone is off, when i am having full signal.. You are right! We can exit like that whenever we want... Wat i mean to say was once we access that site.. we have to cancel the whole stuff and get R-surf from the menu to browse another site... its like a program getting stuck in windows and we close it using "End task" in Task Manager

Yeh i had tried this sometime back.. but i dont think it works properly in lg 2030 handset... Bcz in the wap in my phone lg 2030.. it shows "Downloading.." continuously even when there is full signal. So i cant message anybody... I have tried keeping the phone like tat for more than 30 mins... but it jus downloads the initial page again and again.. with a progress "Downloading..." And we wont even be able to exit properly.. bcz when the message "Downloading..." is displayed... we wont be able to navigate the page. I think my phone keeps showing tat message bcz the connection is always alive with the e-messenger.net server. Anybody got any idea?
