reliance has not modified the firmware but instead the ut300R2 comes with that minimal firmware only it doesnt limit functions if you are connecting the way reliance prescribes by default (without natting)

It does work in India, i am not sure about reliance and cdma phones but as far as compatibility in other gsm phones, it does work. Only thing is you need to have a valid GPRS on your connections

guys listen, let me take it the other way ya obviously it isnt not good to have do something else while you are on job but thinking the other way around, it doesnt do much harm in the sense these companies would be having enough resources to support downloads by their staff. Say maybe they have a huge download limit/node or unlimited usually, so in short doesnt affect much regarding getting the data out first of all let me ask you what point is there in downloading to your office pc - then uploading to mail - going home and download again from MAIL why not download straight from home than going through this. ok that is your choice leaving the mail you can upload it to rapidshare.com or 4shared.com both give you enough space to work around go home and download.

data card speeds are pathetic you will find better speeds in a rim phone.

as the offer i said now. i dont know if bpl which changed to hutch gives that plan for new clients. but yes it was available for old ones and ppl are still using it. Also they are using under 50 connections. not even 100. so if you know someone in bpl/hutch, just have a check in your region.

BPL which is not converted to hutch has offers for companies (depends on area and ur executive). You can have unlimited free calls between the no's. The rental for addon's is around 150 or 200

drali let me know how you are connecting with router do you use a PPPoE dialer or configured inside router itself to auto dial if you are using a ppoe dialer in windows, you just need to disconnect and reconnect. if you have configured inside router, i guess there should be a disconnect/connect button there.

Hi guys, i got by ubuntu months back.. i recently tried installing rconnect. i am not very familiar with linux part. so i need some help on the following issues. i need people who have worked with ubuntu. because its kinda different in matters of root login and all. it uses sudo last time some days back i tried installing rconnect using rconnect script and it pulled a error saying device not found or something like that. i guess its because of some errors in usb device address in rconnect script as i read somewhere. But i am not quite sure how to change it/correct. recently linuxguru said to type dmesg before and after i connect the cable. i have attached the results. I even tried the manual installation, but for editing the files it needs root login. but i dont have a root login. Does any one know the default root login/pass in ubuntu ? the username / password i set in setup doesnt have root privileges. Finally, now when i tried installation, it says to login as root but i dont know the root login. anybody please help with detailed information. before_connecting.txt after_connecting.txt
