Does anybody know how reliance sends the MMS link via SMS. If you do, then instead of the link leading to Rworld, can it lead to wap site. There was some discussion some time ago, of why a Reliance user cannot download from any other site other than Rworld.. bcos of the Jatayu Browser?

Reliance India Call charges 12.9cents/min (13+ if you add tax). Thats a bit less than 7Rs per minute. If this reduction is passed on to customers, I beleive it might be cheaper to call US from India (ignore VOIP) than from US to India

GPRS Samsung Phones use EasyGPRS and EASYstudio to upload ringtones/wallpapers into phones. This software is available for free downloads on www.samsung.com Has anybody tried those to upload ringtones?

So it was a fluke finding and a loop hole in AOL! So, this is a temporary solution, till AOL tightens its belt. Still, Indian guys found the loop hole before the rest of the world, and exploited it...!!! Am I right? I will find out directly from AOL.

Use *3001#12345# get into the service menu, go to security.. read the security code, reset it if wanted. Enjoy. If phone already locked.. u have to use Diego

I dont see the relation between selling porn on bazee.com and punishment by suspension. Clearly, this requires to be mocked at. The same goes for the school kid. Shabz, your attitude of nipping the bud is the work half done and the easiest of the "possibilities". By suspending the person, you are just passing the buck. And Tanveer, i dont see my post deleted Grow up

By doing -#7370# u will convert a provisioned handset to an unprovisoned. We dont want that, do we?
-
Update.. cam be reprogrammed using diego. Try it out.

Ya..same thing happens sometimes when you send an sms to a bsnl no. You get an sms from the BSNL no, that reliance cannot send an sms to this no.

Do we have Right of Privacy as one of our fundamental rights??? How about "Duty to respect another persons privacy" Any constitutional expert?
-
True..!! I agree with Tanveer. What is really required is openess while discussing matters of sex. Sexual curiosity is a normal thing, and 15 is the average age when a girl experiences her first sexual experience. For guys it is 14.

Coming to main point. This is what I thought about LG 6000, when i saw it a few minutes ago.. I was excited when DAPO started too, but in no time I realised the flaws and what I was missing. 6130 is definetely better than 6000. Reason 1. Instant MMS button. Can store 4 MMS on phone, rest on server. That is a first for RIM. 2. Its 30% cheaper. ADVISE: Do not go for either. Both ****..!! They **** BIG TIME. Quit RIM, go GSM.
-
Agreed..! Dapo is good for SMS. But, there are ways to get Free SMS on GSM, forget national.. International..!! That too for a petty MMS rent. Now, this makes DAPO customers burn a bit. Point two, NDTV, AAJTAK etc. are a temporary fad. Point 3, SMS is cumbersome.

Thats very broad minded..!!! Listen, this thing is bad because it is paedophilia and not just pornography. And yes, even the "desire to" or being Aroused at such a topic is paedophilia. This is not acceptable. Pornography is freedom of expression, and its up to you to enjoy it or not. If you dont like Porn, shut up and let others enjoy. If you dont like to have sex in public places... man you are missing something. Pity.!
-
Common guys..! What happended to freedom of expression. Its a natural thing. People having sex. Sex is good. .!

30 Rs per hour on Peak and 15Rs off peak. Interesting. Hope they reduce FWP browsing charges too...!!!

What I mentioned is a true security flaw, but unfortunately my posts were deleted. Its been happening many a times. Any ways, for those who do not know, there is a slight difference. Say my no. 09333333333 is and I send a MMS from my phone to Raccoon. He will get a MMS as from 09333333333 or from EEPROM (as in phone book). But if I send an SMS from Statics number 09342042042 by CODES technique, Racoon will get an MMS as 09242042042@rmms.ricmail.com In other words, Static is safe. But enough to send anonymous messages or send spoof mails!!! Well, this is possible in GSM also.
-
By CODEs technique, you can send MMS from any number 093xxxxxxx@rmms.ricmail.com, now can I send Static to jail Send an explict pic to a girl/guy with <statics number>@rmms.ricmail.com

7370?? Do you have the Reliance logo on start up or Nokia Hands? You can restore the phone using Diego, but I dont think that would be allowed on this forum.

Ooh, the relevance of Message center no. is a reply to this. I am not in Hyderabad Common Chiraag, you are smarter :'(
-
Chiraag read this :'( Ok, one more example. Do you have an sancharnet account? Send an email from Sancharnet email account to a GSM no.. You will get an sms on GSM with REPLY no. as SANCHARNET (Yes, alphabets not numbers) This is a similar thing. Here instead of SANCHARNET its INTERACTIVE. The FROM no is INTERACTIVE, the owners account is part of the SMS. Ok. I am tired,

Beetle, did u really try it out urself? Who says that its not the FROM no? When Manoj msgd me, it showed his no. itself with a stupid "colon" added to it! Get that now? If that colon wouldn't be there, we could simply selected REPLY and bingo, there u go! Maybe its different in Hyd 20012[/snapback] He He, thanks for calling me Beetle. Ok. here it is, my last effort to put some sense into the legend moderator of rimweb Have you ever got any sms with no reply no.? Like some emergency message from Reliance. It happens all the time on GSM...!! Even the four digit reply no. is not revealed. Happens on reliance too. Well, this is one such message. The xxxxxxxxxxx: is being sent as part of the SMS, not as a header/phone no. and definetely not with a colon added by mistake. xxxxxxxxxx: is the way it was designed to be, and meant to be. Legally and by common sense Reliance cannot allow the PHONE NO. to be displayed as the FROM no, as it did not really arise from the phone, but the phones owners account (Which is not the same as phone). I hope it makes sense. The no. is being sent as part of the SMS. Read Dr. CODEs post, he knows it too. About the Hyderabad no., its the message center no. dude..!!! Send an sms to a GSM phone, and it will reveal the message center no. Havent you heard of stuff on GSM like changing Message center no. and getting unlimited free sms?? Happens all the time. Aaaaaah :'( Not on Reliance, never been able to change the message center no. Dont know any other message center no other than the Hyderabad no.

You mean something like the USE NUMBER option, which lets you to call back or store any number received as sms.
