Its on 1024 x 768. If I don't keep it on 256 compatibility mode, it crashes and wont even display that message. It just does not work.

Updated the Graphics driver yesterday itself. Didn't help. Will check the DX version today. Thanks! This is the error I get - "Texture is too large: 2048x2048, maximum supported size: 1024x1024" And this after running it in compatibility mode for 256 colors. (if I don't, it simply crashes).

This one isn't working on my PC. Tried moving the dll to windows/system32 and even changing the res. in to config file to match that of my monitor. No joy. I'v discovered that the ads in the Android version are what is making the game sluggish. In some scenarios its so sluggish, that its not worth playing at all. Turning off data makes the game go smoother for sure as the ads don't display, but I don't want to keep toggling like that every time. Is there any other solution?

I guess it should work with Giftmate or maybe even with Freecharge. Haven't you tried there?

Having serious issues with Docomo EDGE here too. Sad to hear that its similar in Bombay. Yesterday I checked the speed and it was like 5 kbps!! Thats next to unusable. I'v seen the speed go upto 150 kbps or so max, sometimes in the past. But its really not at all reliable. Unless they do something about it very soon, I may be forced to make use of MNP, lol.

Made the mistake of upgrading the firmware to the latest version and yesterday, flashed it back to the previous version (V10b), after suffering it for several days. New users may want to avoid updating to the new V10c. Did not find a single apparent advantage with V10c. On the other hand it made the phone slower which is sacrilegious! Updates should make devices faster if possible and not the other way around! Most other uses have reported sluggishness after upgrading. Rooting is also currently not possible with the new firmware. Further, the new firmware has littered my SD card with heaps of apk files. Most likely this was done by the new LG Installer that gets installed. All the apks on the card were offered by the LG installer for installing, hence it is the prime suspect. Can someone tell me if its ok to delete these apk files now. Would there be other unneeded files associated with these? Hand to re-download and re-install Swype each time as it seems to not funciton after a firmware upgrade or downgrade. LG stop putting garbage on our phones and stop releasing buggy updates like this and wasting our time. I'm very annoyed with you. We can figure out what we need on the phone and really, really don't need your advice. Tempted to try custom ROMs. Need to find time for that now...

No such luck for me. No sign of even the 1st 800 bucks... Though they have said they will resolve the issue by 20/1/11.

All those towers aren't there because the actual range is limited! Its there to allow for frequency reuse.

Operators may downplay the impact of MNP by saying very few subscribers will opt for it, but amongst the people I know, a lot want to change to better operators... esp. those who have been on Airtel for a long time. Only time will tell...

Ya, its mentioned that you can recharge from their site or thru retailer. But it wasn't clear if you can use other sites to recharge, so I avoided them and used Docomo's own site, and still ran into these issues... I'v written to the Nodal Officer last night itself. Got a call from someone who sounded like a typical call center guy. I guess the Nodal and Appellate desks are just for namesake, to comply with regulations. Anyway, he said my complaint has been forwarded to the concerned dept.

Ok, they played a nice practical joke on me. Registered on FB app after going thru the T & C (thanks to Honest for informing. ) The app. itself threw a browser error message instead of a confirmation. Tried registering again, and it told me I was done. Then attempted to recharge with various denominations like 900, 750, 850, etc. but their recharge site kept rejecting the amounts at random. Like it you try once with 900 it would reject couple of times... at the third attempt with same amount it may accept if its in a good mood. Finally after some attempts, it accepted Rs. 800, so did the recharge. Amount was promptly deducted from my bank a/c. But no talk time at all in my Docomo a/c!! And I mean the base tt of Rs. 800, not the additional Rs. 800 which would come after 7 - 15 days!! Have shot off a mail to them. Really pissed with these repeated issues with Docomo. Wastes lot of time.

Wow, 30p local calls with Vodafone!! Will make me ask myself why I'm wasting time with Docomo... Hope it remains as an ongoing offer. Is Idea listening?? I hope they pass away (die) peacefully in their sleep. ADA Group is hopeless.

They have a long way to go before they can come at par with Idea, Vodafone, etc. And unlike you, I keep facing some issue or the other with either their network or with their systems, and really miss my Idea. The quantum of my issues is more likely due to my "wider" overall pattern of usage. You are probably just lucky that the network is good at the 2 places you use it most. And for sure its better if compared to RGSM. I guess anything is better than RGSM... even BSNL! Discovered this myself yesterday. Its clear from their table that 100 - 10000 should carry full talk time, but it clearly shows tax deduction and processing fee after you enter the amount. Further, yesterday, the site randomly rejected some perfectly valid amounts and after retrying couple times the same amounts are accepted! Its like its got AM (artificial moods) built in. All this extremely irritating behavior really needs fixing asap. Didn't encounter this earlier as I'v only recharged for Rs. 222 and 444... and these amounts don't have issues.

Beware of even doing that! The network is NOT consistent. Sometimes it works ok other times it can be totally unusable. Just at my residence, at the same places, I have seen signal intensity going from max for a few weeks and then barely 2 bars later. Sometimes it just jumps around every few seconds!! No consistency at all. Idea rocks in rest of Maharashtra & Goa. Network is VERY consistent. I'v been told they have improved a lot in Bombay now (they are new in Bom). Not experienced any cheating till date. Only issue can be the tariffs...
