The problem has been taken care of as soon as I did this and there was a green check mark on one of the network connections on my laptop. I also disabled it. Now both the connections are working. Im able to connect thru my phone and also the settings are detected as soon as I logon to my network. Thanks for all your help Rajeev. I appreciate it...

I installed R-Connect this weekend on my laptop running Windows XP (sp2) and was able to browse internet. I use LG RD6230 with a USB data cable. But when I tried to connect the lan cord at my work, It says that it is searching for a connection, usb and some crap like that. Im not able to do anything now. Can some one help me on this please.. Do I have to make any changes to the TCP/IP settings. I have set the LAN connection to obtain the DNS and IP address automatically before and after installation and same with R-Connect. What seems to be the problem? Can someone help me on this please........... Thanks in advance Praveen

Guess I figured it out all by myself I found a solution for this problem. My computer was not recognizing my phone as RD6230. I tried installing the RD6130 software for this and it worked like a magic... I didn't understand how the software for RD6130 worked for my phone....!! Who cares..!!! it works!! Praveen

Anyone help me on this please. I also tried searching for this on the Forum, couldn't find anything. Or anybody just give me the link where I can get the solution from. Please Please help me

Hi Folks, Im using a 6230 phone with LG USBC1000X USB cable. I tried installing RNetconnect on my Laptop which runs on Windows XP, It is not able to recognize the USB Serial Port and USB High Speed connect cable. At the time of installation, it says that the driver is installed for both and my device is ready to use but the setup doesn't continue. No error message no comments. The next button doesn't work in the wizard. I tried to uninstall the software and the drivers from Add/Remove Programs and Device drivers and tried once again. No luck. Nothing works. I tried all the ways and means of switching the mobile off and turning it on etc., Pleeeeeeeeeease help me in setting this up. Im getting frustrated Thanks in advance. Praveen
