I called up CC for problem connecting on other network. I was informed that they are aware of the issue and have approached TRAI for the same. Actually as mentioned by Kanaga, it is issue of AVoId, they are blocking the same.

I didn't find any issues with net speed but calling is big problem. When I try to make a call, most of the time I get message "Network is busy". Have to try 4-5 times before getting through. Even anybody calling me faces the same problem.

Go to My Jio App and dowload follwoing 4 apps from within the app (it will take u to play store) Jio OnDemand Jio Play Jio beats Jio money After that again open My Jio and open MyJio. Please sign up using Jio mobile number. Then wait for few seconds. A pop will appear to activate Preview offer. If not then logout of MyJio, closed the app and relogin.

I got Jio SIM on A5.. I also tried the same on Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 (only on 1st SIM slot) and was working fine though I am using with A5 only.

Govt is planning 4G spectrum auction by end of this year. This is really ridiculous as users have still not embrace 3G due to high cost. Even telcos are worried about their investment. Telcos are in big trouble if this happens. If they dont bid, then new cos will get it and will offer 4G at almost same price. IF they bid, then they need to invest again billions. This makes no business sense. Govt should also think how they are going to support industry with such policies.

I will also recommend REdmi Note 3 16GB... One the best in the price range. Other option Asus Zenfone.

Many local cell phone stores are also providing RJIO SIM with LFY mobiles.

I will suggest go for 5* rated AC, assuming your usage is >6 hours a day and as said by Shashank, opt for inverter type if budget permits. Also do not go for 3* inverter type.

Reliance store in Mumbai charged Rs. 100/- for the 4G SIM. No idea what they are going to do with that. I will be able to know only after it is activated. The number belongs to my colleague. Also, in Mumbai they have stopped most CDMA connections from yesterday.

It is ore due to pending migration of many customers. Yesterday saw long que at one of the reliance stores in Mumbai. So they are aware that it is difficult from them also to migrate so many users in such a small time.

Yesterday one of my colleagues CDMA number (Mumbai circle) got disconnected. He can't make/receive calls. He has to activate his 4G sim. However, my dad has not received 4G sim, he only got SMS about the upgrade.

Seems RJIO clearing stock of lfy mobiles, otherwise why they need to bundle it.

I got my phone yesterday. I would say its a decent phone. My phone is shipped with MIUI 7.2.3.0 ans says no update available. However when I go to download update, it is downloading something and also installating but version remains the same. Other problem is that contact photo is not displayed while making/receiving a call.

I will suggest to buy as it provides protection against dropped and water spill. It is really good when you have kids and otherwise also. I wasn't aware of it when I placed an order for it. However will opt for the same after receiving the phone but have to pay more.

There are many who haven't received yet. Buyers from Amazon got it. No idea MI is working. If you read the their forums, then you will realise that delivery takes 10-12 days and not 5-7 days as mentioned. As buyers, we do not have any other choice. Even I am yet to receive it. Yes. You don't have choice as CDMA won't accept +91. Earlier some imported phone had option to change + to desire number while dialling but that didn't work for SMS. Also search the forum, there might be a link to change the prefix in +91..

Yeah....me too!! But in my haste, forgot to take one day delivery same here... got 3gb/32gb dark silver, while I wanted gold or silver. In fact, I wasn't aware about one day shipping...

My cousin got a new S6 Edge from abroad. He had given to someone for setting up. But somehow that guy forgot his gmail password. He had created new gmail ID and no recovery details like phone no, email etc were provided. He also activated Samsung account with this gmail ID. Later, he formatted the phone through stock recovery. It deleted everything and restarted the phone. The phone is now locked and asking for samsung account details. As mentioned above, do not have access to this account. The phone is stuck at the attached image. Please help. On net I found someone stating that it be done with ODIN but not sure. I do not want to mess with it. He visited the Samsung Galallery in Mumbai (no idea which one) but they refused stating that since it is foreign handset they do not have any software for the same. Pleas help me to start the phone. There is no data so no problem in resetting.
