guys, my brother is in Dubai and want to buy a laptop.. following options are available: pls see the atached image for the config. pls advice. the basic use, net, office and other office related stuff. Movies also.. it will be used by my brother. currently he is using Acer 4750.

it wont be cheap, unless reliance come sup with data plans like US telcos.. but then again, if charged 1000 for unlimited for 2yrs then it will not get the expected market.

i used TP for abt a year. i have used it with Energy ROM for couple of months.. i found stock ROM to be the best. energy rom has excellent features but at the same time, lagged some basics.. like, it disabled plus code dialing on my TP. i prefer stock rom...

thats the reason i dont trust LG prodcuts. you are probably 10th person who has problem with LG product. and most of them with TV/projector... very few are lucky...

this is really good suggestion. only you need the one base unit and rest cordless devices. i have one Uniden base with cordless. i got one from Singapore with base and one cordless. onlything is that caller ID is not working, i think format in India is different or so.. otherwsie great isntrument. i have double line in it. the initial investment may be about 15k or so but then you dont need to pay AMC or anything else for wiring. you just need charging point where you keep cordless phones. but yeah, there will be limit on number of lines you can connect.

there are many local brands and they are good. i was using some local brand for 8 years... abt 3 years ago i had problem with some IC and required abt 2k for replacement of board.. i dont know the name as now i have replaced my line with PRI and system is provided by airtel.. make sure you get good dealer and after sales service provider. i had got it from vendor who is working with my dad for long time. so service is never problem. also make sure that AMC is not much. generally they give you high discount on system but will charge heavy for AMC..

Intel Admits Flaw in Intel 6 Series Chipsets Intel has admitted that a core-logic bug lies in the Intel 6 Series chipsets. The Intel 6 Series chipsets codenamed Cougar Point are the ones that support latest Intel Core series based "Sandy Bridge" microprocessors. The bug lies in Cougar Point's Serial ATA Controller that deals with hard drive and optical drive. Intel has informed its motherboard manufacturing partners and is committed to work closely with them for recall-replacements. The core issue lies in Intel 6 Series Cougar Point chipset's SATA controller that connects to the system hard drives and the optical drives. When several customers informed Intel about the issue and then Intel performed tests again on the chipsets at its labs. Apparently, the issue was the failure to access SATA access ports 2 to 5. Hence all the early adopters of Intel Sandy Bridge supporting Intel P67/H67 motherboards with Intel 6 Series chipsets are recommended to connect hard drives with SATA access port 0 to 1. Also, the failure doesn't exist in every chipset but only in certain ones and that too over a period of time. About 8 million Intel 6 Series chipsets have been shipped till date and only few out of them have actually been bought by customers. So Intel will recall the Intel 6 Series chipsets with flaws from the distribution channel and revert with fixed versions of the same. At this moment, Intel hasn't announced any dates of recall and replacement process. Intel characterized it as "circuit design over sight" and has already started manufacturing new version of the Intel 6 Series chipset wherein the issue has been fixed. Intel's products scheduled to release later this year will be unaffected by this issue. So if you've been saving up to buy Intel P67/H67 motherboard, ensure you purchase a fixed version.

Which Version you are on , all Version except DI18 creates problem with Battery i am on DI18.. i havent made any changes in ROM. if data is on, then battery drains fast..

i have disabled data connection. i generally use wi-fi connection. i have also disabled auto sync with twitter and facebook and all other apps that need data connection. i manually sync it.. i've wifi at my home also so need data only when travelling.. with this, i get more 24 hours of battery...

micro technology has products for car safety and home safety similar to Zicom.. the prob with their car safety is that at times it automatically gets triggered and car cannot move further. i had this problem and had to pay heavily. it suddenly got triggered while dirving and stopped. a bus bang my Innova from back. Imagine if such thing happening to your house, you are left with no electricity or something.. they have this issue. but they sold few 1000 daily and hence they are not bother abt such issues...

Write debit amount in check register and place receipt in back of checkbook. 18. Re-check makeup. 19. Drive forward 2 feet. 20. Reverse back to cash machine. 21. Retrieve card. 22. Re-empty hand bag, locate card holder, and place card into the slot provided! 23. Give dirty look to irate male driver waiting behind you. 24. Restart stalled engine and pull off. 25. i will suggest reverse way. most credit card providers have facility for bill payment. register your utility and also check option for auto pay every month. the credit card co will pay it every month. currtenly, i have citibank & HSBC which reminds me when bill is generated and also 2-3 days before due date. i have not opted for auto debit. both have option for auto debit also. no need to visit any gallery. it can be done by logging on the bank website.. both banks support RCOM, AIrtel, MTNL, Vodafone & Tata indicom. I AM AWARE OF THESE COS only..
