its not microsoft.. the article is taken directly from Indian express. Indian Express Link as regards to definition, there can be many. overhere, the whole point is different. i just copy/pasted the article with its title.. besides, read it carefully. ministry is looking for generating revenue from non core business which may be for short time and may not be good for railways in long run. further if railways pays to govt. then it will nto have enough for capital and development expenses. if it does not pay to govt, then govt will be face additional deficit.. railways is a major cash earner for GOI. you cannot say that Railways bankrupt means GOI is also bankrupt. there are many cos, 100% own by GOI that have gone bankrupt in the past and that does not mean GOI is bankrupt.

my bro has purchased one in AHmedabad. i used it on Thursday while i was there. i checked the speed on speedtest and found D/L 1.6Mbps and U/L 900Kbps.. then i started surfing and found it to be good no issues. i used for abt 2 hours. then again after abt an hour, i reconnected. i was unable to browse anything. so i disconnected nad reconnected, it was good then. my bro is satisfied with it. he told me that he found little problem while on road travelling from home to his works which abt 40km away. as per him, it will sorted out soon.

Every Phone May Be A Cell-Tower
csmart replied to rajanmehta's topic in General Technical Discussion
good App. but 1. why telcos will promote/allow? if user can make free calls then who will use telcos 2. what about security and privacy? 3. battery 4. radiation level Telcos will try to block this and come with above and other points as they are poised to loose money since app makes "free calls" -

bought D-Link DIR-615 Wireless N Router 300 for Rs 2350. I have LinkSys in office nad in many linksys models you do nt get AP feature and also cannot change antenna as they are inbuilt. I have netgear in my ahmedabad office. not satisfied with it. I had used for about 2 weeks, my firend's DLInk 300 and ofund it to be good. So i decided to try this one. I can also change antenna and put high gain antenna that i have for better connectivity. I wanted to connect my 2 flats on separate floor with single ISP. i have hard wired this router with my ISP wifi router. now my both floors are on wifi. deal breaker for me: 1. supports b/g/n 2. facility to use as AP 3. change antenna

viru has been retained by delhi.. players dont have right raise their value. there were icon players in 1 and 2 editions. These players were Rahul Dravid, Sachin Tendulkar, Saurav Ganguly, Yuvraj Singh, and Virender Sehwag. VVS Laxman initially named an icon player, later voluntarily opted out of his icon status to give his team (Deccan Chargers) more money to bid for players. For the second season, auctions were also held, but free signings taking place in the off-season by franchises led to calls for a draft-like system where the lowest ranked teams would be given a first opportunity to sign players. (source: wikipedia) the list provided in the first post is incomplete...

Try nokia bh215...i m using got last 1.6 years or so... Best part is that you don't need to keep it on your ear continuously. Its like microphone used by tv anchors. Good battery life, last 2 days or more with avg use... I dnt know whether a lady will like it or not.. but really good. It has: Vibration Ringtone Volume control Toggle between bluetooth n handset with a button press Mute button "Its wired" http://europe.nokia.com/find-products/accessories/all-accessories/headsets/bluetooth-headsets/nokia-bluetooth-headset-bh-215 -

Vodafone Slashes National Roaming Rates

telcos cannot charge more for voice. while SMS rates even hiked, do not get that much attention. so they keep SMS rates high. -
kya kare rajan bhai, mere pass utana paisa nahi hai, I am happy with my AMD Athlon 2500 XP | 2 GB | 17 crt | Sony DVD RW | 250 GB | amazing specs.. but for shell programing, its like you are using Ferrari where nano is the best option... advice: ask for additional warranty for UPS (including batteries)

3G Roll Out Will Be Big Challenge
csmart replied to Karthik R's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
its high time that telcos look beyond conventional uses. they need to target VAS users who need constant data. if they can target that at reasonable price then they can earn more. here i am talking abt many cos that uses wired connection for remote offices. now network available practically everywhere, they can provide required bandwidth and earn. its easier for them. but as usual they dont think "out of the box" and run after normal user who is more price sensitive. i also feel that India has made big mistake by going for 3G. it should have opted directly for 4G. its simple, with so much amt spend on auction, they cannot spend for at least another 5 years on any other technology, unless there is radical change in user pattern. so 3G in current scenario looks bad for both Telcos and users. -
ADAG tag dropped, master brand to now be called RELIANCE
csmart replied to Arun's topic in Reliance Communications
@sgiitk good one... ADAG has failed miserably in all its venture. all power cos are fairing well, while Reliance power is deep trobule. similar case is with RNRL and other cos.. so this may also have prompted 2 bros to come together before the market cap is eroded. -
the site you mentioned is BB site and rcom site. so BB might have put all existing CDMA handset in it... thers is no official confirmation abt these handsets. if launched good, but as of now, they are not there...

i still feel Reliance CDMA is cheaper. my plan is SimplePPS 1p/min for Rs 199/- and SMS pack costing 1p/SMS for Rs 11/-. the charges are same in roaming also. i know reliance has change this plan but as of now i am not affected..

CDMA In India – Past, Present And Future
csmart replied to rajanmehta's topic in Indian Telecom / General News
India is the leading player in outsourcing market. but we ourself dont understand or rather dont want to understand technology. be is an individual customer or big corporate houses. to save few bugs, we are ready get old technology. we never fully understand or take advantage of latest technology. now the failure of CDMA is handset. 2 major players-Tata and Relaince, messed it up. they get age old handsets at very high price. eg HTC S720, Samsung Galaxy. Reliance has BB8530 at Rs 19000/- or so. while its GSM counter part is Rs 12000/- or so.. they argue about paying royalty to Qualcomm, but it cannot be such high. these 2 telcos also failed to market the advantages of CDMA. With increasing competition and voice charges dropping, both carriers lost their vision and fail to attract new subscribers. still we dont have CDMA BB with BIS and BBM in range of 10-12k.. the look and feel of handsets are not that good. even if CDMA has lot to offer, carriers are not willing to do so. i dont see Tata or Reliance are in mood to offer good in CDMA. it all depends how MTS performs.
