tikona is not that good.. there are lot of issues like getting disocnnected, unable to reconnect, dialing every time etc... i had problem with tikona even after they installed AP on my roof top. the executive simply could not connect it. i complained to all the officials but no luck. even said that i will sale their AP and other stuff, still no reply. at the end, i disconnected AP supply. they called me as they wanted to provide connection to other customers thru AP on my building. they were suppose to resolve the issue. its almost 6 months, they are yet to contact me.

Dot Rings Mobile Number Portability
csmart replied to coolrajiv's topic in Mobile Number Portability (MNP)
Source TOI, Mumbai edition, dtd 27/10/2010 Cell no. portability to roll out in Nov New Delhi: Telecom minister A Raja on Tuesday said mobile number portability (MNP), which allows subscribers to retain their cell numbers even after changing service operators, will be launched in Haryana on November 1. The service is expected to be rolled out in the rest of the country in phases. According to Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI) and Association of Unified Service Providers of India (AUSPI), it will take an average of 15 days for a consumer to change his operator and a minimum of 50 days before the same number can be ported. In March 2006, Trai had recommended that the MNP be implemented by April 1, 2007. In December 2009, the government set a deadline of March 31, 2010, for its implementation, which was further extended to June 30 and again to October 31. Consumer organizations have alleged that links between government and big businesses have subverted consumer interests by delaying the MNP. The delays were mostly on account of a backlog of pending decisions and investments that several operators would have to make. In the end, BSNL also dragged its feet. The implementation of the MNP will protect consumer interests by reducing prices and improving the quality of service -

New Reliance Netconnect Plans - The Way Forward For Reliance!
csmart replied to HetalDP's topic in Data services
rcom should come out with plans that are reasonable and not exorbitant. i was thinking why cant it launch plans that make other telcos run for their money or simething similar it did when RCOM was launched. for Blackberry, vodafone and others have Rs.350/- or 400 pm unlimited or annually 4k, then why cant reliance have similar plan for CDMA users. keep fingers crossed... -

if you see the video posted in previous post, epic has some minor limitations like only one contact viewable, buttons/links on home screen cannot be customised, etc. the benefit of epic is also its graphic card which both HTC handsets are lacking.

even i was looking on the net for similar comparison. i found few videos. Epic has benefit of physical keyboard and millions of colours. <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TheQbKfeQMk?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param'>http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TheQbKfeQMk?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TheQbKfeQMk?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object> but i found that sence UI is better than samsung. its personal choice. i am using touch pro for almost a year and will say my use of physical keyboard is extremly limited. i am still confuse between incredible and evo...
