Blackberry charging is very sensetive, it is always advised to use original charger only, else it can damage the charging circute. I have already damaged one blackberry curve

There is a device available in Chennai, not sure of other places, which can be paired with two mobiles simaltaneously. It works just like dual sim handset. Charges around 3000. Brand if I remember correctly its Jabra

Blackberry which Sadik is having is 8130 Pearl. It is a good handset for non data users.

Call customer care and threaten them for termination, they will change the plan.

Reliance is about to launch EVDO based High Speed Data Cards within 15 days. High speed access may also be extended to BlackBerry also.

I am at chennai HSIA works here, you are right, initially it was being offered only in subsrbs.

Evdo on BB or on mobile is not permitted currently and that is the reason voice calls will not be permitted on evdo data cards.

Reliance did have issue with data and BB services between afternoon of 2.3.09 till morning of 3.3.09, now it is resolved completely.

Customer Service of Tata is undoubtly very good, tariff are most competative but I feel they are slightly lacking in terms of Network and qualtity of voice. Again, as lostjournal said, it is only my experiance.

I feel, such things happen in all companies only issue is that we dont come to know since most of them are not part of such busy forum. Whether Reliance is reliable or not, they are certainly trend setter and I dont think anyone would deny this. Issues are there with all the companies and if they are within the tollerance level, we should not be minding it. The most unfortunate part is 90% post of this forums are regarding complaints and that is the reason you have got the reliable factor against Reliance. I am sure all would agree, reliance is only responsible for such rock bottom tariffs, before they came into telecom business, people were paying 4 rupee for air time cost alone.
