Did any one see the Nokia N91 advt in newspaper these days. It shows 2 models - GSM & CDMA. So that means it would work with Reliance? Can anybody confirm this?

Hi Dharmesh - I get about 10 calls a day which means approx 20 mns of incoming and I make around 5 calls a day for apporx 20 min outgoing.... I use my camera alomost daily to click 5-6 pcis and use 4-5 mins of MP3..... Also I dont use the charger given with this handset because it takes hell lot of a time to charge.... this charger takes 3-4 hours for full charge whereas old chargers takes max 2 hours. I charge the phone only whne I get 3-4 batter lwo warning. Most of the time it runs for 4 days easily. I hope it helps.

Nokia 6265 advertisement appeared on TV today.... so finally people outside this forum will also wake up to this phone :-)

Paradox Studios is porting all their existing games for Nokia 6265. Reliance will start releasing it in October.

Guys I am back after a short break and spent last hour reading all the posts I missed. Even I am quite unhappy at no WAP access anymore. Also I have noticed that my battery is living little longer now. I survived 5 days with my regular usage. Just hoping to get that WAP thing back....

I downloaded it directly from minibrowser and installed it on my SD card. I dont face any issue on same website. For example if I am get on to gmail then I dont get error accessign anything on gmail. I face issues when I change domains but then again its only during the entry/homepage loading. Surprisingly I am not able to open webmail.relianceada.com if I have to check my official mails even after unlimited tries. Also its very difficult to open any reliance site using WAP because of some internal problems with Reliance IDC and Reliance Infocomm. I am trying to find ways to remove this problem forever. Let me know if you come across any settings.

I also face this issue in Opera but the chances of error popping up is far lower than inbuilt minibrowser. When I start Opera, I face this issue initially but once I get going then I can surf seamlessly.

I am using default 64 mb card & wanted to try Opera Mini so can you suggest me step by step procedure to load it on my 6265 pl. consider me as newbie for WAP usage, I am having DKU-2 cable so suggest me how to load with that cable & also let me know outgoing per month if you use such services as I called *333 for 5 different times & they are unware of such word WAP serives. In your phone go to R-World then on the left bottom click "Menu" then go to "Enter the URL" and then enter http://mini.opera.com/.... then press "Go"... try it 2-3 times and your browser in phone would open a site. On that site click on the link "Download Opera Mini" then your phone would ask you if you want to download and then say Yes and downlod it to any of your folder. The process will then guide you. Also there are no separate charges for WAP. Its the same as using R-World.

Hi all 6265 owners I want to know one thing..... my phones battery is running out very fast. I had to recharge it within 24 hours after charing it for the 1st time. At that time I didnt mind coz I used it extensively for hours. But now that my usage is normal, battery is getting low in 2 days. Schumi & others - whats your battery run time so far??? I heard that battery last for 8-9 days easily. Please confirm guys.

I can give you high level procedure - In your computer, search for bluetooth device (make sure your bluetooth in phone is on) then add this to your bluetooth devices. It has to be then installed as bluetooth modem for browsing internet. I have not used it so not very sure about the step by step procedure. For WAP, go to R-World and before it loads click on "Menu" on left bottom and then go to Enter URL - then enter any URL and try browsing. Try with www.yahoo.com. Try 3-4 times if error comes.

Download some good applications for 6265 from here http://www.getjar.com/software/Java/Nokia_...es_40v3_240x320 It has flurrymail which can be used to access & download all you mails from gmail, yahoo & hotmail. Its a 60 day trial. Also you can download mobitalk to chat.

I installed Opera Mini on my 6265 and internet is working really nice now but the only issue is that all sites are opening as full version and not WAP version which makes it difficult to navigate.

You are right Basant. Business tools should be standard in such expensive handsets but you've got to accept whatever we have. CDMA network can support reasonably good data transfers than GSM so operators shoulc get some good PDAs to make use of the network fully.

There is no in-built mail software so you can not set any email account and check mails. Currently I am checking mails through inbuilt minibrowser. But there are 3rd party mail s/w available for this phone where pop3 mails can be installed but I am not sure if mail download will work or not. I assume it can be made to work. I will spend 2-3 days exploring this and let you know. Also there is no document viewer app inbuilt but yes there are few 3rd party available on different websites. I am yet to find a good free apps so I have not installed one.
