The so called advisors of Ambani clan have indeed messed-up Infocomm. In all matters they have indulged in a manners which are unethical. The long term harm caused by these crooks will bleed the company for years. It is not surpising that today no one ; Customers, Other Operators, Government, Marketing Agents, public included, trusts Relaince Infocomm. At one point or other each of these group have been s***ed by Reliance illegally.

It is indeed a good idea to have some subscription/donation. The Forum could become a formal Association of all RIM users in India. Association can formally and legally takeup issues with Relaince, TRAI, TDSAT. It can even start legal cases against Relaince on issues affecting RIM community.

I too used to get similar calls asking for payment. On most o the ocessions without even despatching bills. Few times I had to behave rude. These days I reject all calls with Restricted Number, which are from Relaince Call Centre. No time for flirting friends........

Reliance made too many promises and kept few of them. Today hardly any RIM customer trusts Reliance. Most of them have been scrwed one time or other. In terms of customer service, Reliance is the worst in India. Even sarkari BSNL is better. I guess, more than any thing, it is the level of customer satisfaction and trust working against Reliance.

GTRAN is a substandard set. we have been cheated by Reliance. Never go for gtran even if for 2000 bucks.

Is there any way to upload dat/midi ringtones to LG RD 2130? What is the procedure for uploading through MMS? Can ne one guide me pls? One of my friend want my help for this.

By the way what is existing level of ADC on different type of calls and what exactly is the impact of reduction? This would be interesting for all of us to know.................... I belive for Reliance as well as other GSM operators now LOCAL means entire State.

Operators are likely to announce new tariff rates within next few days. Let us watch if the benefit of reduced ADC rates is passed on to consumers.

I love Idea signature tune and I have been using it as ringtone on my GTRAN. Sweet, soft and does not irritate at all even when I am in meetings etc..............! I am looking forward so such ringtones.

to me it is absolutely illegal............... why would ne one waste his DAPO plan minutes for RConnect which just costs 50/25 paise per minute.....less than local call? Eevn the new RConnect tariif plan suggests that DAPO users with Zero rental option would be separately billed @ 50/25 paise without effecting their plan minutes. What is happening in other postpaid plans? Is Rconnect usages deducted from plan minutes?

Going by press reports it is the Reliance Infocomm which is root of all problems between Mukesh and Anil. The real ownership structure of Infocomm is said to be a mystry. If the fight intensifies, would it affect Infocomm and its customers?

I agree with raccoon...........better to stay away from reliance Rconnect unless it is absolutely neccesary and u have plenty of cash to dish out withour cribbing.

As usual all reliance plans lack transparency and thier people give contradictory replies. Even after 16 months, the Company is yet to learn any thing. May GOD save us.......................!

I went through revised RConnect Plan document. The charges for DAPO are not clear. No mention of DAPO usters in the document. The issues are: If DAPO user would have to pay RConnect charges of Rs. 200 per month If DAPO users can opt for standrad plan of 50/25 paise/min If the usage will be counted as a part of DAPO Plan minutes or will be billed seprately Any idea abt this?

this is not a ques. of taking sides, more so we know very lil of inside details. However, if both bros. do not patch-up quickly, it would be sad story of indian entreprenurship in general and Dhirubhai saga in particular. We may be bashing Ambanis here everyday but we also agree that they are real poineers and entreperenuers. Dhirubhai always thought out of box, in global scale with best of technologies. He took many risks and came out sucessful each time. Of course, he had his quota of controversies but that is true of all Indian businss houses. Ambanis taught lessons to PMC gaints in Jamnagar project. Mukesh & Anil need to work together. I believe, nation needs Ambanis in explorartion, petro-marketing, power plants and power distribution.

yeah.that extactly is the point. Reliance is using TRAI directive bogey to over charge us. this is proved beyond doubt. DAPO usres seems to be shy of signing petition. some times most were vocal in taking ambanis to court? Kya hua yaron?

reliance started commercial operations in different parts during March to May 03. I think TRAI order for 60 second pulse for the purpose of IUC was effective from 1.5.2004 and reliance starting charing 1 mnt. pulse from that date. DAPO was a three year service contract between two parties. For any reason, if any one party wants to deviate from the terms of contract, other party has to be given the option to accept the change or terminate the contract. Reliance has not given any such option. Therefore, changes made by reliance can not be binding on us. Recent judgement of Delhi consumer court on 15 second pulse proves this. We know there are atleast 10 other TRAI directives which Reliance has openly flouted. so TRAI directive can not be excuse for overcharging DAPO users.

By and large both Mukesh and Anil inherit all sr. ambani qualities. I am sure they will come out of this crisis. stakes are too high for them.

Can one use Reliance virtual sim card on a TATA Indicom CDMA handset? I guess, there is no benefit if the use is limited to RIM handsets. of course, this may enable us to sell our used handsets to others who can use legally. is there any thing more?

but if the fight intensifies, growth plans may be affected. so also the day to day management and quality of sevice. but it is too early to predict.

Since TATAs are coming up in a big way, it is desirable to invest in phone with ruim slot only, which will give option to switch over.
