How You Handle Calls missed due to active data connection?
harry_psm replied to phonegeek's topic in Data services
RIM Gurus .. Will this problem of calls not getting through while active Data connection be ever resolved in future for CDMA. I mean probably in 1x or EVDO in future? If not, is it a better idea to switch to GSM to enjoy SmartPhone Data services in a better way? Please guide. -
Hi All I just got a new Sprint HTC Touch Pro. Unlocked it and installed the Mighty ROM Windows Moblie 6.5 on it. My query i regarding using data on Reliance. Please explain what is the difference b/w using through #777 and the other one using RWorld method. Is the RWorld 249 Unlimited Plan totally free? I mean no Network Usage Charge and no Data usage Charge (just 249 per month). Does the phone stay busy (for any caller) when the Data is being downloded (using RWorld method?) Waiting for a promp reply. Thanks

Hey I tried deleting the password using N73 according to one of the posts I found in the NEt but no luck. The problem is I never set the password in the first place. In one post I read that the set password feature of 6265 also does not work... as in even if u set password it does not prompt password. But later when people forget the password wht they set... Suddenly out of the blue one day it starts prompting for password. I am not sure if this is the case with me... Please keep us posted if you find any solutions. Vikalp please let me know if u find any other solutions

Problem Waking From Hibernation
harry_psm replied to harry_psm's topic in General Technical Discussion
PROBLEM STILL UNSOLVED Well I need to thank you Seetha, for your valuable time... but the problem still remains Firstly I am already using XP SP2..... Secondly, the hotfix u mentioned for USB Bug fixes is for Windows 2000 and not Windows XP I searched for other fixes and found some which were very close to my problem. But it shows that they are already installed on my system as I am having XP SP2. So the problem is still open..... Seetha can u tell me the version of driver u are having? Go to : Device Manager->Ports->Prolific USB-to-Serial Bridge Right Click->properties->Driver tab Check Driver Version displayed... and please inform me -

Problem Waking From Hibernation

FOLLOWUP Well it is quite clear what the problem is.... (Pretender please give a solution instead of just rephrasing the problem) Also I never said that XP shutsdown...... The Laptop shows it is restoring from hibernation (the status bar appears and completes)... then suddenly the screen goes off.... the HDD and the system are still running.... Finally I have to switch off the laptop(hard way)... Now when I restart it, I have to delete the hibernation record to start afresh... -
Sys Configuration : Laptop Mobile PIV 1.8GHz, 256MB Ram, 30 GB HDD, etc Operating System : Windows XP Well I was using original USB cable for LG RD2030.... since it got bad.... I decided to buy a local one as it was cheap.... To my surprise... this one seemed to work very well... it cost me half the price.... and lo it was charging the mobile thru USB (original does not do it ... although reliance claims) Local Cable Details on Device manager : Prolific USB-to-Serial Bridge (COM4) Coming to the real problem When I put my laptop to hibernation mode with the cable connected to it, it does not recover properly from hibernation.... the hard disks seem to work... it displays loading screen ... then the screen goes off... and does not turn on whatsoever.... This problem occurs only with the USB cable plugged in while going into hibernate mode...... Note : The original Reliance cable (I was using earlier) did not have this problem at all Please suggest solutions.....
