    Nokia 6265 is UIM Enabled and i am using it with a RUIM Card. But the US verison will work in india with reliance is doubtful because even tata indicomm handsets which are uim enabled like 6235 also don't work.

    I feel nokia CDMA handsets have been loaded with software and a module called as RELIANCE PORTAL, so even if you get a handset from US which is UIM enabled you may still not be able to use R-world and other reliance related software.

    Can someone answer this plz It costs Rs.25 and u have to buy it seperately Abhishek I think so u r talking about hcc card. i am asking about ruim card in which u can put this card in another supported phone.. it works like a sim i guess..... so whats the cost anyone ? The RUIM Card is available in WW at Hubli for Rs. 98/- but it is already assigned with a number and not blank. I got one blank RUIM card free with 6265 handset and transfered my no. from 6255 to 6265 using HCC.
