  1. All About Nokia 6265

As I had mentioned earlier that there is no Screen Guard available in the market as yet which fits the Nokia 6265 display perfectly. And If you have purchased a ready-made Screen Guard of some other model then I am afraid that it might not be fitting perfectly on the display of the Nokia 6265 handset which might lead to dust entering the Screen later. But its good that you are not facing any problems of dust as yet. Now I have purchased an Open Guard which had scales and was trimmed perfectly to fit the display of the Nokia 6265.The Screen Guard should cover the entire display, now as you see the display of the Nokia 6265 handset, there is a silver border(inside) on the Screen and the Screen Guard should fit cover all the ends of it.I am talking about the Silver border which is above the Service light. Well its dificult to explain how the Screen Guard protects the dust from entering the Screen from inside. But many members have complained of dust entering their screens and they have not put the Screen Guards and I have put the Screen guard and I have not yet faced any problems of dust in my Display so the only obvious difference is the Screen Guard. There maybe some other reason also. But still I suggest everyone to put a Screen Guard which will atleast help from Scrathes. Also try and keep the slider closed and open it whenever neccessary. when i bought my phone the very next day i did put a scratch guard on my phone....though a little bigger coz the size wasnt available.....when i had that on my phone the dust particales entered and i can see this fine black spots inside my phone entered frm the botton of screen and upper right corner (so the scratch guard doesnt help preventing dust only scratches) only of u look closely or when the phone screen is white the dust particales are noticable.....its now been more than a week that i have taken off the scratch guard & put on the 6265 size scratch guard...for those who think it aint available....u r wrong coz it is...chow As I had mentioned earlier that there is no Screen Guard available in the market as yet which fits the Nokia 6265 display perfectly. And If you have purchased a ready-made Screen Guard of some other model then I am afraid that it might not be fitting perfectly on the display of the Nokia 6265 handset which might lead to dust entering the Screen later. 3. All About Nokia 6265

Hi guys, If some of you remember i had told u guys about some dust entering my phone which is in the screen That is between the actual screen and the plast cover of the nokia phone Now all of us know that cant be cleant by ourselves as the phone doesnt open like some of the old nokia phones. some of you have posted details that putting on a scratch guard helped....basically scratch guard helps for scracth only.... I have noticed from where the dust has entered 1 is the call buttons, if u notice there will b dust collected between those buttons & has a chance for dust to move up into the screen The 2nd place which has the most change is when u slide open ure phone look at the back at the back there is this black portion to either sides there is this silver road if u see between that u will see 2 holes on either side.....& thats the place that dust can enter easily ( do see those 2 holes u need to make sure ure phone screen light is in) Any solutions let me know chow

  5. All About Nokia 6265

ive been reading a lot of details in here regarding storage of sms & contacts, but somehow nuthin makes any sense, Nokia phones basically have 3 places where data can b stored, 1 RUIM card (sim card) 2 Phone memory 6265 (24MB) 3 MINI Sd card ( memory card default 64 MB) when it comes to your sms in setting you have a choice of choosing RUIM or Phone memory if phone memory is choosen u can keep recving sms's till your phone memory is full ( you also can choosen UIM, phone if no memory which means if UIm card full then to save in phone memory) contacts again have a choice of RUIM or Phone, if phone is choosen it should take 500 enteries + 250 of the UIM (RUIM card) here again you have a choice of choosin phone or UIM or phone & UIM So guys try using this and see if what i said and your expectations are met Chow Keep callin......
  6. Nokia 6265 CDMA Launched on Reliance Mobile now !

Dear Chirag, Here all of u r qustions solutions 1. First go to the "go to" options then click "Options" buttons and then click "Select Options" and mark all those things which u want. there is a simple way to check the missed call , Received call n Ringing Valume. 2. Also there is another way also by clicking Menu>Setting>Phone>Nevigation Key. So that u can change the setting in u r Scroll Key bec this key has phone names in upper n lower button I have a one query regarding display name that when i go to the Menu>Setting>Display>Banner>Personalise But friends I cant change the banner name instead of Relaince So any one has got this solution then pl reply me Hi guys, i found the solution to the problem regarding change of banner. it apperently doesn't work if the auto time update feature is turned on. once you turn off that option in the date and time section, you can just switch off the phone once and then personalise the banner. reliance will pop up again if u turn on the aotu time update feature. This doesnt work ive tried switching off auto time update feature then switch off the phone & then tried personalising but it doesnt happen... what now ??
