well frens I also have the worst experience with Vodafone.I knew very senior persons in Vodafone they are highly corrupt and they do anything to achieve their targets. Problems never get resolved in Vodafone. 1st the will create some problems and then they will restrict the CC no on the Vodafone so that customers can't even complain. I remember few days before in Delhi and MP circles they started deactivating the prepaid nos with the statement that they haven't recieved the documents few customers were on network for 3-4 years.After that i came to know that the nos were deactivated purposly so that when customer visit at Vodafone store they try to sell the postpaid to the customers. This is one way of cheating the customers. They are not fair with customers as well as Business competitors. like they sign the mutual agreements about discontinuation of product an in market all operators stop selling the same discontinued product. but Vodafone continue billing the product with backdate billing. Like for Delhi Circle Old I-Card/Yuva Card/H-Card all of them discontinued in month of March 2007. none is billing but Vodafone has billed 20,000 old H-Card in Nov Last week only. You won't believe that the even buisness partners and distributors are not allowed to enter in the Vodafone premisis in Delhi. if they need to talk then vodafone representative is suppose to visit your office

your 10th marksheet will also do the work for the proof of DOB or you can use affadavit on the stam paper of Rs 100 or above. for this check with any lawyer they might charge you 200 to 300 for this service

Dear Friends, I am using the airtel services from more then 2 years but everyday i have faced some problem or other. and I need to call them every 2nd day for resolution of the problem. and few problem are very frequent like charges of hello tunes which appears every month but i haven't activated it. I just want your help that where should i go to get the justice. is there any way so that i can take the legal actions against them. I have already talked to there very senior persons like one of technical head of north zone visited few months back to resolve the speed problem. but problems never ends. like I took the Postpaid No. in my bill they change my surname. when i called them they asked me to visit the ARC channel after the request they corrected it but in next billing my address get changed . please help me out so that I can take the legal actions Thanks in Advance

I have already surrendered few nos like my data card etc. And surrendering my No means i have to surrender all of my corporate nos. initially I was using Reliance and because of service support i shifted to Vodafone and again they gave me so much pain like wrong billing etc so I shifted to Airtel. and now i cannot shift to Idea because in my office it has a poor coverage. also at few of the location in my company offices only Airtel services are available and i am facing lots of problem. thats why i want to go for some legal actions. so tell me where should i go should i go to consumer forum or i should go somewhere else.

Dear Frens, I am using the Airtel Broadband with 256kbps UNLIMITED Plan. in the month of July I faced some problem in speed. And I found that there IT persons put my connections with low capacity Card and I asked them to connect my line to High Speed Siemens Card. after that My speed was near about 256 kbps at day time and 500 kbps at night time. in the mid of october i was not getting the increment in the speed at the night time. but from last 10 days I have obesrved that my speed on Airtel is near about 2.11 mbps reported by there own website. here are my few observations:- If my modem is on and I switch my PC or my Laptop i get the speed of 220 kbps. If I i reboot my modem(hard reboot with delay of 2 secs) after turning on the PC i get the speed of 200 kbps I i reboot the modem(hard reboot with delay of 1 min) after turning on the PC i get the speed of less then 120 kbps And if i 1st reboot the modem with delay of 1 min and without running any p2p program i reboot the modem again after 10 mins with delay of 2 secs my speed crosses 2 mbps. I did lots of trials with these observations and I got the almost the same results each and every time. I feel that this is the bug in there connectivity that's why I am getting these results. could someone will also confirm if he/she is getting same sort of results with the Airtel BB. If it's there then this time we are going to exploit the Airtel. I am attaching the latest Screen Shot of my Torrent that I took in Day time

No Rakesh, The speed I am getting is 2 mbps for the download and the 500 Kbps for the Upload

modem that I am using is the betel 220bx and I asked the Airtel Tech Guy to connect my BB line to Siemens Card in there exchange. Here switch on/off means through the power switch not through the PC. Delay means that Switch off and then wait for that much time and then switch on. Also one thing ensure that when you try all this please ensure that no Application running on the PC which is using active Internet like P@P(Torrents, Kazaa, Emule) or some downloading. Try it if it works please share the experience here bcoz i have tried it it works on few connection but not on all.

well I tried it with 4 more Airtel BB connections out of which this trick worked on 3 but not worked on 4th one. I dun know the reason. Also as per my observations out of 4 one connection crossed the speed of 2 mbps and 2 were close to 1 mbps. and on my connection this trick didn't worked for last two days but it started again today. speed is really rocking. on torrent I am getting speed 250 KB/s. Tommorow I'll give the details of the modem page. because today due to high speed data transfer and many connection threads I am not able to open that page

I too agree with the Honest. you should go for the orginal battery. I tried the compatible battery with IBM T series thinkpad. and it didn't worked properly. so it's better either you should go for the orginal battery or get your old batter refilled. I don't about your city but in Delhi Nehru Place is the market where many computer wala are doing the job of reflling of the old batteries.

I'll go for the TFT but still I want to get it repaired so that I can use it with my OLD CPU. and today I tried to repair it my own. now brightness problem removed. Now I am facing problem only with the contrast. And the frequency of the problem has also reduced a lot. I'll try the same treatment tomm again and I hope that contrast problem will also get resolved

dude i purchased it in Kanpur. and Now I am in delhi. so The service guy will not travel all the way from Kanpur to Delhi. so if someone knows the person in Delhi I mean service center then please tell me. I tried two service persons in delhi both tried to fool. they told that this is the problem of EFT leakage and I have to Pay near about 2000 for the same. . we are equally responsible for this act. specially college students and so called extra smart peoples. they change their no very quickly and they want insta activation. So many dealers preactivate SIM cards(IVR) with the fake Ids during the period of bonus schemes and then sell them at the cheaper rates.

in Delhi you can the fake address and ID proof just for Rs 10 I have seen thats it has been done openly and many senior peoples of Telecom industry knows whats going on. And if you wanted to know that how it's done just ask them they will help you in doing this faking just to boost their nos. I remember few days before I have heard that one of very reputed person is forcing the sales team to do the faking just to boost the no and to make the company name big. few months back in MP it was found that laks of HUTCH prepaid connections were issued with few thousand of Ids. Infact in many of the cities HUTCH/Vodafone is billing the fake SIM cards to the dealers to hit their targets

it's better to go for the broadband because with the current infrastructure in india you will not get the proper speed over USB modems

in Delhi its 555 plan where you get 555 pule free with some free data transfer on Broaband

it's always better to go for the US based hosting providers they are much cheaper and far reliable in terms of service. if you want .in domain just book the domain from local site and then hosting on these servers like godaddy or the servage if you will google you will get many more service providers.

thanks peter I will check this out. but the solution I am talking about I have seen few day before on some of Indian Govt Site. but I am not able to recall that site. And the type of usage that I am planning is not possible through my own VPN server as running cost and the infrastructure cost will be very very high. where as if the solution That I have seen (Digital Signature) will work then the costing will be much much cheaper and easily scalable.
