can someone help me out in reading the SIM from the PC and accessing the network services through the SIM menu without using the mobile phone and the data cables, Bluetooths. I want a device for it that can just be plugged into PC/Laptop. and where can i buy this Thanks in advance

Hello everyone. I need your help. for some project I have to design a card just like Credit cards. I want to know that what is the costing of designing a Credit card. Or a Card with magnetic strip on which I can store Data. what are the instruments I'll require for that and where can i buy all those stuff Thanks in advance

sim card readers are there but card readers don't have network connectivity. so if i say that I have to send SMS through the pc then card reader will not work. yes i agree that i can read the stored SMS and the phone book. but i can't make calls. my purpose is to access the sim card and execute the SIM card functions directly from the PC.

I am searching for the low cost solution and everbody knows it that costing of the RFIDs and the hardware requirenments for this. And I want to develop it for indian market thats why i clearly mentioned it that i can't rely on the networked solution thats y asked that how can i prevent the dupicacy of the card and and how can i secure the data on the card towards the modification. and knowledge is just to share not to hide. Ashok my purpose that I have to monitor the no of swape of the card wen users eneters in the premises and i have to grant him the permissions in the particula premises depenibg upon the authentication stored on the card. for this there are two option i store data on server but for that i have to rely on the network connectivity. second option is that I store data on the card but i can be modifed and duplicated

Thanks ashok for suggesting me the cheap alternative. can you suggest me from where I can get these cards. and what will be the cost of these magnetic strip cards. what will be the cost of strip encoder printer and the strip reader. What is storage capacity of the card. Also how secure these cards are towards the data modification and the duplicacy As far as hotels are concerned in kanpur there is no such hi-tech 5 star or 7 start hotel to get in touch. In IIT kanpur sometimes to start with the project one has to give brief summary in the SIDBI only then you and start with fresh projects and SIDBI finance these projects.

well in terms of quality you can try skype. call rates are very cheap almost 1.1 Rs per min to US Canada and Voice quality is quite gud

some times these softwares don't work if you overwrite so its better not to save the new files in that drive before recovring all the files

now its working fine for me i have tested it for 3 test SMS to 94155xxx 2 test sms to 9839xxxx. and all are delivered with in 1-2 mins

The US/Canada/German operators that they have mentioned have free gateways. Mantraways has also mentioned that have coverage for Airtel then ask them to provide sms gateway for Airtel Up East(Don't have free Gateway for 9935xxxxxx). They have mentioned that they have coverage for BSNL all india . I have tried it many times. they don't have any coverage. yes they have coverage wherevere there is a free gateway the can connect And yes I agree that Mr zehirgibi has used their SMS service but he didn't recieved any of the SMS till the day. Mr zehirgibi I am goin to launch a SMS gateways service and i will provide you the service free of cost . I don't gurantee that you will recieve any of the SMS from that service friends go to the site of mantraway. and read aboutus Yes they treat there customers as their partner thats why they thing evenif they rip them partner will not complain

actualy we know the reality of Mantraway now thats why Mr Jain is not responding to the forum now. we need not to say any thing everthing about the company is self proved. Lalu ke raaj me sab chalta hai and Mr Jain is now going to issue Fatwa for me

I have already mention the sms gateway that mantraway people have. They are using only free gateways and ripping the customers. Many peoples who are able to send the SMS to their cell are the only one whose operator supports free SMS gateway. BSNL don't have any free gateway so you are not able to send free SMS. MTNL has free gateway so MTNL people are able to recieve that. many of south india operators have free gateways and Airecl Calcuta has free gateway so they are able to recieve the free sms. Airtel Delhi has free gateway so Airtel delhi people are able to recieve free sms. Potpaid Idea Delhi People have free gateway so they are also able to recieve free sms. but rest of us are not able to recieve. Mr Jain now Hutch don't have any of the free sms gateway so try to find out some other free gateway.

some of the sites providing free SMS gateways to the operators in SOUTH. No Free gateway is for north customers for BSNL HUTCH AIRTEL.

yes it gr8 i have also got my chat enabled in gmail account. and working fine its faster then yahoo. But only problem is that most of my frens dun have gmail chat in there account

What i guess why manrtaway sms gateway is not working is that most of the indian operatos has stopped there free sms gateways. Like for HUTCH(Upest) Just mail +919839xxxxxxx@upeast.hutch.co.in HUTCH(Delhi) send mail +9198xxxxxxxxx@delhi.hutch.co.in and many other such gateways. some of the gateways are working for postpaid users only like for idea delhi. many of the peoples who have recieved The test SMS are either are MTNL user or the postpaid custmoer on HUTCH/AIRTEL mantraway is still ripping the peoples by using those gateways . Thats why Mr Jain has gone underground after my message. And he has not find my nos in his logs Mr Jain is saying the SMS is working with leading operators. i think BSNL and HUTCH and Airtel are the leading operators in India and i have tested SMS for all of these operators and none of the SMS delivered to me because none of them has their free gateway for prepaid customers.

even today i have tried to send test sms to 919839xxxxx/9194155xxxxx but none of the test sms delivered yet
