Friends i have to move delhi and i have to buy new connection. I can buy RIM as well as any GSM connection in preapid. since i have to recieve a lots of calls. please help me weather i sud buy a GSK of RIM or i should go for GSM. my major requirement is that io have to recive international SMS mostly from AT&T FIDO and TELUS. I have to recive ISD call from AT&T FIDO and TELUS. I have to use GPRS Service and MMS Service. I don't want to make too many calls so please suggest me that if i will buy GSM connection then which connection IDEA/HUTCH/AIRTEL or some other. and one most important thing that i am going to stay near Nehru Place and i have heard that there is some network problem with RIM so please give me some suggestion Thanks in advance.

1st of all deear buddy i m manish I am no a girl. And I have try to fix it but no1 in our campus is using Airtel MMS service i have try to get solution from local news groups. but due to summer vacation lots of ppls have gone to home or on internship. and in IIT Kanpur major MSP is BSNL and HUTCH.

I have already recieved settings and to use MMS service i suppose to send 1st MMS to any local airtel no on which MMS is activated.I have already talked to Airtel CC and they are even worst then the Reliance CC. yaar wo khud se call cut kar dete hain

Yes IIT-K has moved to IPV6 though IPV4 is also there. IPV6 really s**ks. but only good thing about this is that we have dedicated line for IPV6. there is no authentication and limit over it.

u can also try Glo-Phone actually Skype is also a gud option but it creates problems if ur have less memory
