Mobile Number Portability (MNP): Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
manishag replied to rajanmehta's topic in Mobile Number Portability (MNP)
I still have one doubt, reg above point.. you said that "WAITING OF 90 DAYS is a must, if you have ported your number earlier".. Then what about new porting requests of NEW CONNECTIONS.. Say, I got a very good new FANCY number from Airtel yesterday and I just want to jump to BSNL today... Whether it is allowed??? Or I have to wait for 3 months anyway??? Please clarify this... 90 days waiting period is applicable to new numbers also. so you have to wait for 90 days actual clause for number porting is that you have to wait for 90 days from last porting or activation of new number before you can port the number with the new operator- 242 replies

Mumbai's Death Trap: 10 Railway Commuters Die Per Day
manishag replied to kshah's topic in The Lounge
for this we are equally responsible. deaths are not limited by the trains people do die on the road accidents. all of us are always in hurry. we want to ring the bell at the last moments only. for example in delhi most of the offices start at 10 in morning so you can see the RUSH in delhi metro between 8:30 to 9:45 after that you will not see the rush. same thing happens to the Buses. people stand at the doors and many times they are standing on 1 leg only. if you get even a small impact you will die. at the RED lights of busy roads pedestrian try to cross the road only when it's green light they are in equally in hurry. for Cycle Rickshaw/Pedestrians/ Bicycles no traffic rule exists for Private Autos/ Tempos / Buses there is no rule because they have purchased the local officials. As far as our driving is concerned how many of us drive in Lane. and last not least that there is major crowd in public transport because we don't have good public transport and no stringent rules for violeting the rules why there is no rule if someone is crossing the cross when it's green light. if we drive in lane we will save time so we will not be in hurry -

for gamming pupose ATOM is not at all good. but for day to day home use ATOM is suggested because it's very less power hungry. I am already having ATOM base system as well as C2D system. for normal word processing and Net Surfing Atom is cheap and best. in one of the school in UP i installed 40 atom based Systems(IntelATOm with Orginal Intel Board, 17inch LCD, 1GB RAM, 250GB HDD, DVDRW) even after one year these systems are very smooth. major advantge that they got was saving in electricity bill

Even I am using the HLL pureit 2000 rs model which is going strong. in terms of service i didn't faced any problem in delhi. i got the replacement battery sameday. only problem with these type of product is that plastic quality is not very good so one can easily damage it. otherwise HLL pureit is good.

but irctc shows just the trains not the availability between all pairs of stations the example i gave in my earlier post. it's true example and there are many use cases like that for example it might be true that on one train reservation is not available from delhi but it's available from ghaziabad and most of trains which go to lucknow from delhi goes via ghaziabad. in case of irctc it'll so availability between delhi and lucknow. where as on these sites it'll show availability if it's available from any of the near by station on the route
-
for checking the availability yatra.com/ezeego1.com/makemytrip.com etc are far better then sarkari irctc also there interface and ease is much better. for example I was suppose to book ticket for delhi to faizabad. on irctc it showed me availability between delhi and faizabad which was waiting list. where as these private site(ezeego1.com in my case) showed me the availability on one train from subzimandi which is another station in delhi. same train dun have availability from old delhi railway station
-
that depends upon ticket(Sleeper). for example ticket price = 300 Ezeego charges = 10 Card charges = 4 IRCTC charges = 10 total cost paid = 324 less discount of Rs 50 = 274 still it's cheap by 26 where as if i do same for Rajdhani with fair 1000 i won't be saving anything in nutshell by Rs 50 you will be paying agent charges(Rs 10 for sleeper and Rs 20 for higher classes + creditcard/netbanking payment charges)
-
yes this offer is only on ezeego1. on irctc there is no such discount available

there are various type of connection activation schemes. like my 1st organzation was in Telco Retail and they were suppose to have recharge sims at across all the stores these sims were activated with id of one of the director. also all landline and corporate phones(Which were given top level management) were activated under the name of Director. for all these things All Operators took written agreement that any misuse will be the responsibility of the user. -

if you have to send only 950-1500 sms per month only then go for RGSM Rs 19 SMS coupon. it will charge you all SMS @ 1p(Local/National all operators) so for 1000 sms you will endup paying 19(Tarrif)+10(cost of sms 1000*1p) = Rs 29 only
